What is happening?

Warwickshire County Council

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984
Warwickshire County Council proposes to make the following Temporary Traffic Orders:

A446 LICHFIELD ROAD, COLESHILL

Order Effect: A 30 mph Speed Limit will be imposed on A446 Lichfield Road, Coleshill between its junctions with A446 Lichfield Road/B4117 Gilson Road and A446 Lichfield Road/B4118 Marsh Lane.

Reason for Order: For the safety of all road users while HS2 works are in progress.

Order Commences: 27 October 2024 until such time as the Works have been completed and this Order has been revoked.

Anticipated Completion: 20 December 2027.

Contractor: For HS2, Balfour Beatty Vinci, Tel: 07752 462 669. SANDY LANE, OVER WHITACRE

Order Effect: Road closed to vehicular traffic.

Reason for Order: Excavation works to lay duct, build joint boxes and clear potential blockages.

Order Commences: 30 October 2024 for up to 18 months.

Anticipated Completion: 13 November 2024

Access & Diversion: Atherstone Road, Nuneaton Road and vice versa.

Contractor: KN Circet, Tel: 08000 859 194.

WISHAW LANE, MIDDLETON

Order Effect: Road closed to vehicular traffic.

Reason for Order: To safely enable tree trimming works.

Order Commences: 30 October 2024 for up to 18 months.

Anticipated Completion: 30 October 2024

Access & Diversion: Wishaw Lane, Green Lane, Middleton Lane and vice versa.

Contractor: EOS, Tel: 08006 783 105.

For all of the above temporary orders, pedestrian access to and egress from properties and land situated adjacent to the length of road to be closed will be maintained at all times. Vehicular access will be maintained where possible.

(WAITING RESTRICTIONS AND ON-STREET PARKING PLACES)
(CONSOLIDATION) (VARIATION NO. 9) ORDER 2024

Warwickshire County Council propose to make the above-named Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to vary the existing Warwickshire County Council (Borough of North Warwickshire) (Waiting Restrictions and On-Street Parking Places) (Consolidation) Order 2017, as described (by approximate measurements) in the Schedules below.

Exceptions to any waiting restrictions described in the Schedule below will permit waiting for the purposes of picking up and setting down passengers, loading and unloading goods, for vehicles displaying a disabled person’s badge and in connection with the maintenance of the road and the supply of gas, water or electricity.

A copy of the proposed Order, together with a copy of an Order to be varied, plans showing the lengths of road affected and a statement of the Council’s reasons for proposing to make the Order, are available on the Council’s website at https://www.warwickshire.gov.uk/ news/20206/north-warwickshire-borough and at the Main Reception, Shire Hall, Market Place, Warwick during usual opening hours.

Any objections, representations or expressions of support to the proposals, which must be in writing and specify the grounds on which they are made, should be addressed to Ben Davenport, County Highways Minor Works Team, Communities Directorate, Shire Hall Post Room, Northgate Street, Warwick, CV34 4RL or sent by email to pmc@warwickshire.gov.uk using the subject heading “NW Variation 9”. Derek Avenue, Dordon
Both sides, from a point 20 metres east of its junction with Long Street, eastwards for 5 metres.

North side, from a point 40 metres east of its junction with Long Street, eastwards for 49 metres.
