HERTFORDSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL:

(TEMPORARY CLOSING OF NIGHTINGALE ROAD, RICKMANSWORTH) ORDER 2024

NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council intends to make an Order

under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all

vehicular traffic from using that length of Nightingale Road, Rickmansworth

from its junction with A412 Uxbridge Road north westwards for a distance

of approximately 50m ("the Road"), except for access.

An alternative route will be via A412 Uxbridge Road, Money Hill Road,

West Way, Shepherds Way, Meadow Way and Nightingale Road.

The Order is needed because the replacement of existing gas mains is proposed

to be executed on or near the Road.

If the Order is made, it shall come into force on 28 October 2024 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Road. (TEMPORARY CLOSING OF LITTLE HILL, CHORLEYWOOD

AND SARRATT LANE, LOUDWATER) ORDER 2024

NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using the following lengths of roads ("the Roads"), except for access:-

1. that length of Little Hill, Chorleywood from its junction with Long Lane north eastwards, north westwards and north eastwards for a distance of approximately 150m.

There is no alternative route available for vehicles when the works are being carried out. However vehicular access to properties in this road will be maintained whenever possible throughout the duration of the works.

2. that length of Sarratt Lane, Loudwater from its junction with Solesbridge Lane south eastwards and north eastwards to its junction with Loudwater Lane, a distance of approximately 1450m.

An alternative route will be via Solesbridge Lane, A404 (Rickmanworth Road/ Chorleywood Road) and Loudwater Lane.

The Order is needed because works are proposed to be executed on or near the Roads.

If the Order is made, it shall come into force on 30 October 2024 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Roads. (TEMPORARY CLOSING AND TEMPORARY WAITING RESTRICTIONS IN A4125 SANDY LANE, NORTHWOOD) ORDER 2024

NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of A4125 Sandy Lane, Northwood from its junction with Sandy Lodge Lane south eastwards for a distance of approximately 130m ("the Road"), except for access. An alternative route will be via A4125 (Hampermill Lane/Eastbury Road), A411 Chalk Hill, A4008 (Aldenham Road/Pinner Road/Oxhey Lane), A410 Uxbridge Road, A404 (Pinner Green/Rickmansworth Road/Pinner Road), A4125 (High Street/Church Road), B469 Green Lane and A4125 (Watford Road/Sandy Lane) or via A4125 (Sandy Lane/Watford Road), B469 Green Lane, A404 (Pinner Road/ Rickmansworth Road/Pinner Green), A410 Uxbridge Road, A4008 (Oxhey Lane/Pinner Road) and A4125 (Eastbury Road/ Hampermill Lane/Sandy Lane).

ADDITIONALLY all vehicles are prohibited from waiting at any time on both sides of this length of the Road whilst works are in progress. The Order is needed because works are proposed to be executed on or near the Road.

If the Order is made, it shall come into force on 29 October 2024 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Road. (TEMPORARY CLOSING OF EASTGLADE, NORTHWOOD) ORDER NO.2 2024

NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of Eastglade, Northwood from a point in line with the eastern boundary of No.2 Eastglade south westwards to its junction with Holbein Gate, a distance of approximately 27m ("the Road"). There is no alternative route available for vehicles when the works are being carried out. However vehicular access to properties in this road will be maintained whenever possible throughout the duration of the works. The Order is needed because utility service works are proposed to be executed on or near the Road.

If the Order is made, it shall come into force on 28 October 2024 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Road. (TEMPORARY CLOSING AND TEMPORARY WAITING RESTRICTIONS IN DICKINSON SQUARE, CROXLEY GREEN AND GREENHILLS CLOSE, RICKMANSWORTH) ORDER 2024

NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using the following lengths of roads ("the Roads"), except for access and to prohibit all vehicles from waiting at any time on both sides of these lengths of Roads whilst works are in progress:-

1. that length of Dickinson Square, Croxley Green from its junction with New Road south westwards for a distance of approximately 100m.

An alternative route will be via New Road, Yorke Road, Dickinson Avenue and Dickinson Square.

2. that length of Greenhills Close, Rickmansworth from its junction with Valley Road south westwards and north westwards for its entire length. There is no alternative route available for vehicles when the works are being carried out. However vehicular access to properties in this road will be maintained whenever possible throughout the duration of the works. The Order is needed because works are proposed to be executed on or near the Roads.

If the Order is made, it shall come into force on 28 October 2024 for a period of up to 18 months. (TEMPORARY CLOSING OF BRETT PLACE, WATFORD) ORDER NO.2 2024

NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of Brett Place, Watford from its southernmost junction with The Harebreaks south westwards and north westwards for a distance of approximately 120m ("the Road"), except for access.

An alternative route will be via The Harebreaks and Brett Place.

The Order is needed because the replacement of an existing gas main

is proposed to be executed on or near the Road.

The Order has been made and shall come into force on 14 October 2024

for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall

only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Road.

(TEMPORARY CLOSING AND TEMPORARY WAITING RESTRICTIONS IN OTTERSPOOL WAY, WATFORD) ORDER 2024

NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of Otterspool Way, Watford from a point 120m north westwards of its junction with Park Avenue north eastwards to its junction with A41 North Western Avenue, a distance of approximately 30m ("the Road").

An alternative route will be via Otterspool Way, Park Avenue, B462 Hartspring Lane and A41 North Western Avenue or via A41 North Western Avenue, the A4008 Stephenson Way roundabout, A41 North Western Avenue, B462 Hartspring Lane, Park Avenue and Otterspool Way. ADDITIONALLY all vehicles are prohibited from waiting at any time on both sides of this length of Road whilst works are in progress. The Order is needed because duct installation works are proposed to be executed on or near the Road.

The Order has been made and shall come into force on 17 October 2024 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Road. (TEMPORARY TRAFFIC MANAGEMENT MEASURES ON SYDNEY ROAD, WATFORD) ORDER 2024

NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of Sydney Road, Watford from a point in line with the eastern boundary of No.26 Sydney Road north westwards for a distance of approximately 17m ("the Road"). An alternative route will be via Sydney Road, Hagden Lane, Whippendell Lane and Sydney Road.

ADDITIONALLY the existing one way system on that length of Sydney Road, Watford from a point 10m south of its junction with Whippendell Road southwards for a distance of

approximately 10m will be temporarily suspended to enable all vehicles to travel in both directions within this length of road, whilst works are in progress.

The Order is needed because water service connection works are proposed to be executed on or near the Road.

The Order has been made and shall come into force on 14 October 2024 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Road. (TEMPORARY CLOSING OF A411 BARNET LANE, ELSTREE) ORDER NO.2 2024

NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of A411 Barnet Lane, Elstree from its junction with Fortune Lane south eastwards for a distance of approximately 40m ("the Road").

An alternative route will be via A5183 (High Street/Elstree Hill South), A5 Brockley Hill, A410 Spur Road, A41 Edgware Way (Watford Bypass), A1 Barnet Way (Barnet Bypass) and A411 Barnet Lane. The Order is needed because gas service connection works are proposed to be executed on or near the Road.

The Order has been made and shall come into force on 14 October 2024 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Road. (TEMPORARY CLOSING AND TEMPORARY WAITING RESTRICTIONS IN VARIOUS ROADS IN BOREHAMWOOD, BUSHEY AND BUSHEY HEATH) ORDER 2024

NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using the following lengths of roads ("the Roads"), except for access and to prohibit all vehicles from waiting at any time on both sides of these lengths of Roads whilst works are in progress:-

1. that length of Bullhead Road, Borehamwood from its junction with Thornbury Gardens north westwards to its junction with Kenilworth Drive, a distance of approximately 455m.

An alternative route will be via Thornbury Gardens and Kenilworth Drive.

2. that length of Knebworth Path, Borehamwood from its junction with Nicoll Way north westwards and south westwards for its entire length. There is no alternative route available for vehicles when the works are being carried out. However vehicular access to properties in this road will be maintained whenever possible throughout the duration of the works.

3. that length of Monksmead, Borehamwood from its junction with Arundel Drive north westwards for its entire length.

There is no alternative route available for vehicles when the works are being carried out. However vehicular access to properties in this road will be maintained whenever possible throughout the duration of the works.

4. the service road fronting Nos.97-111 Theobald Street, Borehamwood from its junction with Theobald Street south westwards, north westwards and north eastwards for its entire length.

There is no alternative route available for vehicles when the works are being carried out. However vehicular access to properties in this road will be maintained whenever possible throughout the duration of the works.

5. that length of Mead Way, Bushey from its junction with Bushey Mill Lane south westwards to its junction with Park Avenue, a distance of approximately 1460m.

An alternative route will be via Bushey Mill Lane, Mill Way and Park Avenue.

6. that length of Spring Close, Borehamwood from its junction with Brook Road north eastwards, north westwards and south eastwards for its entire length.

There is no alternative route available for vehicles when the works are being carried out. However vehicular access to properties in this road will be maintained whenever possible throughout the duration of the works.

7. that length of Ivinghoe Road, Bushey from its junction with Chiltern Avenue southwards to its junction with Coombe Road, a distance of approximately 105m.

An alternative route will be via Chiltern Avenue, Little Bushey Lane, Richfield Road, Garratts Road and Coombe Road.

8. that length of Richfield Road, Bushey from its junction with

Little Bushey Lane south westwards, south eastwards and north eastwards for its entire length.

There is no alternative route available for vehicles when the works are being carried out. However vehicular access to properties in this road will be maintained whenever possible throughout the duration of the works.

9. that length of Langholme, Bushey from its junction with A411 Sparrows Herne south westwards, north westwards and south eastwards for its entire length.

There is no alternative route available for vehicles when the works are being carried out. However vehicular access to properties in this road will be maintained whenever possible throughout the duration of the works.

10. the road leading to Nos.9-11 Giant Tree Hill, Bushey Heath from its junction with Giant Tree Hill south westwards for its entire length. There is no alternative route available for vehicles when the works are being carried out. However vehicular access to properties in this road will be maintained whenever possible throughout the duration of the works.

11. the road fronting Nos.19-31 Lexington Close, Borehamwood from its junction with Lexington Close north westwards and south westwards for a distance of approximately 71m.

There is no alternative route available for vehicles when the works are being carried out. However vehicular access to properties in this road will be maintained whenever possible throughout the duration of the works.

12. that length of Little Potters, Bushey from its northernmost junction with Woodfield Rise south eastwards, south westwards and north westwards for its entire length.

An alternative route will be via Woodfield Rise.

The Order is needed because works are proposed to be executed on or near the Roads.

The Order has been made and shall come into force on 14 October 2024 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Roads. vehicular traffic from using that length of Elstree Way, Borehamwood from its

junction with Warwick Road north westwards and northwards for a distance

of approximately 476m ("the Road"), except for access.

An alternative route will be via Warwick Road and A5135 Elstree Way.

ADDITIONALLY all vehicles are prohibited from waiting at any time on both

sides of this length of the Road whilst works are in progress.

The Order is needed because works are proposed to be executed on or near

the Road.

The Order has been made and shall come into force on 14 October 2024 for a period of up to 18 months. NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of Field Way, Rickmansworth from its junction with A412 Uxbridge Road north westwards to its junction with Berry Lane, a distance of approximately 300m ("the Road"). An alternative route will be via A412 Uxbridge Road, Church Lane, Shepherds Lane, Tudor Way and Berry Lane. The Order is needed because works are proposed to be executed on or near the Road.

The Order has been made and shall come into force on 14 October 2024 for a period of up to 18 months. NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of Berry Grove Lane, Watford from its junction with Bushey Mill Lane north eastwards for a distance of approximately 50m ("the Road").

An alternative route will be via Bushey Mill Lane, Park Avenue, Otterspool Way and Berry Grove Lane.

The Order is needed because utility service works are proposed to be executed on or near the Road.

The Order has been made and shall come into force on 18 October 2024 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Road.
