What is happening?
PLYMOUTH CITY COUNCIL
THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH (GDYNIA WAY/ EMBANKMENT LANE/CATTEDOWN ROUNDABOUT/EMBANKMENT ROAD/ LAIRA BRIDGE ROAD) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) ORDER 2024
NOTICE is hereby given that Plymouth City Council acting under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended), have made an Order the effect of which is:
1. To prohibit the driving of vehicles in:
- Gdynia Way - Inbound between Embankment Road and Shapters Road
- Gdynia Way - Outbound for its entirety
- Cattedown Roundabout - no left hand turn onto Gdynia Way
- Embankment Lane - no left hand turn onto Gdynia Way
- Laira Bridge Road - no left hand turn into Gdynia Way (first Sunday only)
2. To suspend the bus lane on:
- Embankment Road - Outbound between Florence Place and Wentworth Place
The prohibition of driving will be in operation on the days and during the hours that the appropriate traffic signs are displayed. The Order shall come into force on 27th October 2024 and shall continue in force for a maximum of 18 months
