Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2024
On 09 October 2024 Surrey County Council made the above-mentioned Temporary Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to (a) prohibit vehicles from entering or proceeding in that length of Green Lane (D248) Ockham as extends from its junction with (B2039) Ockham Road North south-westwards for a distance of approximately 50 metres. Alternative Route – Ockham Road North; Long Reach; and Green Lane; and (b) suspend “The Surrey County Council Green Lane (D248) Ockham Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2023” insofar as it affects that length of road specified in part (a) above. The Order is required to allow new foul connection works and/or any other associated works to be carried out by, or on behalf of De-Ath Bros Ltd within the length of road described in this notice. These works are anticipated to be carried out as soon as possible over 3 weeks between the hours of 8am and 6pm within the 12-month period of operation of the Temporary Order that commences on 21 October 2024. Access for pedestrians and dismounted cyclists will be maintained at all times. Due to the nature of the works there will be no vehicular access through the works area and all vehicular traffic including the emergency services will be required to use the signed diversion route. No sole access will be affected.
Arnison Road (D6933) East Molesey
Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Management Order 2024
On 09 October 2024 Surrey County Council made the above-mentioned Temporary Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to temporarily; (a) prohibit vehicles from entering or proceeding in that length of Arnison Road (D6933) East Molesey as extends from its junction with (D6932) St Johns Road to its junction with (D6933) Hansler Grove; and (b) prohibit vehicles from waiting, loading and unloading at any time on both sides of that length of Arnison Road (D6933) East Molesey as extends from its junction with (D6932) St Johns Road to a point in line with the common boundary between No.10 and No.12 Arnison Road. This Order is required to facilitate new water connection works for, or on behalf of Morrison Water Services Ltd. These works are anticipated to be carried out over 4 days, between the hours of 8am and 5pm, during the 12-month period of operation of this Order which will commence on 21 October 2024. Advanced warning signs will be displayed and the temporary closure, which is anticipated to be in operation 24 hours per day, will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed. For sub-paragraph (a) above: Access to premises within the affected length of road, including access by emergency service vehicles to these properties will be maintained at all times, as will access for pedestrians and cyclists. For sub-paragraphs (b) above: Exemptions apply for vehicles when waiting because they are required by law to stop, are obliged to stop in order to prevent an accident or are prevented from proceeding because of circumstances outside the drivers control and in respect of anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police constable in uniform or of a civil enforcement officer will apply when the temporary restrictions are in force. (N.B. Disabled persons displaying a disabled blue badge will not be exempt from the temporary waiting restriction).

Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order (No.1) 2024
On 09 October 2024 Surrey County Council made the above mentioned Temporary Traffic Order under Section 14(1) and 14(7) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 the effect of which will be to prohibit vehicles from entering or proceeding in (a); the lengths of roads specified in the Schedule to this Notice; (b) Suspend “The Surrey County Council B364 Embercourt Road and D6966 Weston Green Road, Thames Ditton Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2023” insofar as it affects the length of roads specified in the schedule of this Notice. This Order is required to facilitate repair works to chevrons on the rail bridges for, or on behalf of Network Rail. These works are anticipated to be carried out over 3 nights, between the hours of 10pm and 6am, during the 18-month period of operation of this Temporary Order that will commence on 23 October 2024. Advanced warning signs will be displayed; and the temporary closure will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed. Access for residents, pedestrians and dismounted cyclists will be maintained at all times. All other vehicular traffic, including emergency service vehicle, will be required to use the diversion route. Alternative Route: (B364) Embercourt Road, (A309) Hampton Court Way, (A307) Portsmouth Road, St Leonards Road, High Street, and (B364) Station Road, or this route in reverse.

Winchester Road (D3810) Walton On ThamesTemporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2024
On 09 October 2024 Surrey County Council made the above-mentioned Temporary Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to prohibit vehicles from entering or proceeding in that length of Winchester Road (D3810) Walton On Thames as extends from its junction with (A244) High Street to its junction with (X16340) Colby Road. The Order is required to facilitate – (1) To allow water utility works to be carried out by, or on behalf of Affinity Water. These works are anticipated to be carried out over 4 days between, the hours of 8am and 4pm commencing 22 October 2024. Alternative Route: (1) (A244) High Street, (A244) Hersham Road, Bowes Road, Sidney Road, Esher Avenue, and Winchester Road; (2) Winchester Road, Highfield Road, Churchfield Road, and High Street; – (2) To allow gas flow utility works to be carried out by, or on behalf of SGN. These works are anticipated to be carried out over 11 weeks, between the hours of 8am and 5pm commencing 04 November 2024. Alternative Route (1) (A244) High Street, (A244) Ashley Road, (D3809) High Street, Churchfield Road, Esher Avenue, and Winchester Road; (2) Winchester Road, Esher Avenue, Churchfield Road, and High Street. These works are anticipated to be carried out within the 12-month period of operation of this Temporary Traffic Order which will commence on 22 October 2024. Advanced warning signs will be displayed and the temporary closure, which is anticipated to be in operation 24 hours per day, will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed. For part (1) Access to premises within the affected length of road, including access by emergency service vehicles to these properties will be maintained at all times, via road plates if required, as will access for pedestrians and cyclists. Bellfields Road (D4027) Guildford
Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2024
On 09 October 2024 Surrey County Council made the above mentioned Temporary Traffic Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to prohibit vehicles from entering or proceeding in the entire length of Bellfields Road (D4027) Guildford. This Order is required to facilitate utility works for, or on behalf of UKPN. These works are anticipated to be carried out as soon as possible, between the hours of 8am and 6pm, Monday to Friday, and 8am and 1pm, Saturdays, during the 12-month period of operation of this Temporary Order that commences on 25 October 2024. Advanced warning signs will be displayed and the temporary closure, which is anticipated to be in operation 24 hours per day, will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed. Access to premises within the affected length of road, including access by emergency service vehicles to these properties will be maintained at all times, as will access for pedestrians and cyclists. There is no alternative route for this closure.

Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order (No.2) 2024
On 09 October 2024 Surrey County Council made the above mentioned Temporary Traffic Order under Section 14(1) and 14(7) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to prohibit vehicles from entering or proceeding in that length of; (a) Barhatch Lane (D192) Cranleigh as extends from its junction with (D191) Amlets Lane to its junction with the access to the property known as “Barhatch Cottage” and; (b) Suspend “The Surrey County Council Barhatch Lane (D192) Cranleigh Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2024” insofar as it affects that length of road specified in part (a) of this Notice. Alternative Route: Barhatch Lane, Horseblock Hollow, Windmill Plain, Mill Hollow, Pitch Hill, Shere Road, (B2127) The Street, (B2127) Cranleigh Road, and (B2127) Bookhurst Road, and Barhatch Road, or this route in reverse. This Order is required to facilitate installation of new customer connection works for, or on behalf of Network Plus. These works are anticipated to be carried out over 4 days, between the hours of 8am and 6pm, during the 12-month period of operation of this Temporary Order that commences on 21 October 2024. Advanced warning signs will be displayed and the temporary closure, which is anticipated to be in operation 24 hours per day, will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed. Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order (No.2) 2024
On 09 October 2024 Surrey County Council made the above mentioned Temporary Traffic Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 the effect of which will be to prohibit vehicles from entering or proceeding in that length of Alfold Road (D182) Cranleigh as extends from its junction with (B2130) Elmbridge Road to its junction with (X68796) Tuckers Drive. Alternative Route: Alfold Road, (A281) Guildford Road, (S281) Guildford Road, (A281) Horsham Road, and (B2130) Elmbridge Road, or this route in reverse. This Order is required to facilitate construction and utility works for, or on behalf of Surrey County Council. These works are anticipated to take 1 month and will commence as soon as possible within the 18-month period of operation of this Order which will commence on 26 October 2024. Advanced warning signs will be displayed and the temporary closure, which is anticipated to be in operation 24 hours per day, will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed. Any vehicle found to be obstructing the highway during these works will be removed to outside the limits of the works after all reasonable methods have been undertaken to identify and contact the vehicle’s owner. Access for residents, pedestrians and dismounted cyclists will be maintained at all times. All other traffic, including the emergency service vehicles will be required to use the signed diversion route.
Cobham Road (D2508) Stoke D’Abernon/Bookham
Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2024
On 9 October 2024 Surrey County Council made the above mentioned Temporary Traffic Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 the effect of which will be to prohibit vehicles from entering or proceeding in that length of Cobham Road (D2508) Stoke D’Abernon/Bookham which extends between its junction with A245 Woodlands Lane and its junction with Fetcham Common Lane, and any parts thereof. This Order is required because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the said road, namely replacement of viaduct joints, waterproofing works, surfacing works and any other associated works, which is to be carried out on behalf of National Highways. The Order will commence on 17 October 2024 for a period of 12 months. The closures are anticipated to be in operation during the following days and hours: – (1) Monday to Friday between 9pm and 5.30am; (2) Friday between 9pm and 6am; (3) Saturday between 8pm and 10am; and (4) Friday to Monday continuously between 9pm (Friday) and 5.30am (Monday). (Note: It is anticipated that the road will be closed in October 2024, November 2024 and April 2025, which will be confirmed on-site). Advanced warning signs will be displayed and the temporary closure, which is anticipated to be in force 24 hours per day on the weekends, will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed. Access for pedestrians by escort through the closure. Access for cyclists and equestrians will be maintained by escort through the closure during weekdays. During the continuous period of closure on weekends, access for cyclists and equestrians will be maintained via the signed diversion route. Due to the nature of the works, access for emergency services and residents will not be maintained. The Council are satisfied that, in accordance with Section 3(2)(a) and 3(2)(b) of the Act, vehicular access to and from premises, including emergency service vehicle access, within the length of roads specified or accessible only therefrom may be restricted in order to avoid danger to persons or other traffic using the road and/or for preventing the likelihood of any such danger arising. Alternative Route 1 – Cobham Road, Woodlands Lane, Woodlands Road, Randalls Road, Bull Hill, Station Road, Waterway Road and Guildford Road; Alternative Route 2 – Guildford Road, Waterway Road, Station Road, Station Approach Road, Randalls Road, Woodlands Road, Woodlands Lane and Cobham Road.
Laleham Road (B376) Shepperton
Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2024
On 9 October 2024 Surrey County Council made the above mentioned Temporary Traffic Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 the effect of which will be to prohibit vehicles from entering or proceeding in that length of Laleham Road (B376) Shepperton which extends from its junction with D6265 Old Charlton Road to its junction with D6256 Service Road Fronting 13 to 59 Laleham Road. This Order is required to enable Affinity Water to carry out chamber frame renewal and replacement works and any other associated water works, which is anticipated to be completed within 2 days, between 8am and 4pm, during the 12 month period of operation of this Order which will commence on 19 October 2024. Advanced warning signs will be displayed and the temporary closure, which is anticipated to be in force 24 hours per day, will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed. Access to premises within the affected length of road including access by emergency vehicles to these properties will be maintained at all times by road plates, as will access for pedestrians and cyclists. Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order (No.5) 2024
On 9 October 2024 Surrey County Council made the above mentioned Temporary Traffic Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 the effect of which will be to prohibit vehicles from entering or proceeding in the lengths of roads specified in the Schedule to this Notice. This Order is required to enable Surrey County Council to facilitate surface treatment/dressing works, pre-patching works and/or major maintenance works which is anticipated to be completed as soon as possible within the 18 month period of operation of this Order which will commence on 15 October 2024. Advanced warning signs will be displayed and the temporary closure will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed. In the event that it is necessary to restrict any access at any time under Section 3 of the Act, the road can only be closed for a maximum of 8 hours in any 24-hour period. Any vehicle found to be obstructing the highway during these works will be removed to a suitable location outside the limits of the works after all reasonable methods have been undertaken to identify and contact the vehicle’s owner. Access for pedestrians and cyclists will be maintained at all times. Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order (No.2) 2024
On 09 October 2024 Surrey County Council made the above mentioned Temporary Traffic Order under Section 14(1) and 14(7) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to; (a) prohibit all traffic (including pedestrians and cyclists) from entering or proceeding in that length of Station Road (C10) Egham that is crossed by the level crossing known as “Egham Level Crossing” (RDG1 4/6A) and for a distance of 20 metres either side; (b) Suspend “The Surrey County Council Station Road (C10) Egham Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2024” insofar as it affects that length of road specified in Part (a) of this Notice. Alternative Route: Station Road, (B3407) Church Road, (B3407) High Street, (B3888) Vicarage Road, (B3376) New Wickham Lane, Stroud Road, and Manorcrofts Road, or this route in reverse. This Order is to facilitate level crossing lifting and inspection works for, or on behalf of Network Rail. These works are anticipated to be carried out over 1 night, between the hours of 11.30pm and 4.30am, during the 18-month period of operation of this Order which will commence on 21 October 2024. Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2024
Surrey County Council propose to make the above mentioned Temporary Traffic Order under Section 14(1) and 14(7) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to; (a) prohibit all traffic (including pedestrians and cyclists) from entering or proceeding in the entire length of (a) Guildford Lane (C37) Albury; and, (b) White Lane (C37) Albury; and, (c) Suspend “The Surrey County Council White Lane (C37) Albury Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2023” insofar as it affects that length of road specified in Part (b) of this Notice. Alternative Route: White Lane; Halfpenny Lane; Blacksmith Lane; A248 Dorking Road, and Chilworth Road, or this route in reverse. This Order is to facilitate new water mains connection works for, or on behalf of Road Traffic Solutions. These works are anticipated to be carried out over 25 days, between the hours of 7am and 5pm, during the 12-month period of operation of this Order which will commence on 04 November 2024. Advanced warning signs will be displayed and the temporary closure, which is anticipated to be in operation 24 hours per day, will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed. Due to the nature of the works, there will be no access through the closure while works are in place, and all traffic will be required to use the signed diversion route. Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2024
Surrey County Council propose to make the above mentioned Temporary Traffic Order under Section 14(1) and 14(7) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 the effect of which will be to prohibit vehicles from entering or proceeding in that length of; (a) Jenner Road (D4014) Guildford as extends from its junction with (D4014) Sydenham Road to its junction with (D4014) Harvey Road; and (b) Suspend “The Guildford Traffic Regulation Order 1965”, as amended by The Guildford Traffic Regulation (Amendment) Order 1969 (which substituted item No.28 in the first schedule of 1965), only insofar as it relates to the imposition of a southbound one-way system on Jenner Road which extends between Sydenham Road and Harvey Road. Alternative Route: (A246) Epsom Road, Hunter Road, and Harvey Road, or this route in reverse. This Order is required to facilitate installation of traffic island, road markings and buildout works for, or on behalf of Surrey County Council. These works are anticipated to be carried out as soon as possible, and will take two weeks to complete, within the 18-month period of operation of this Order which will commence on 04 November 2024. Advanced warning signs will be displayed; and the temporary closure will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed. Any vehicle found to be obstructing the highway during these works will be removed to outside the limits of the works after all reasonable methods have been undertaken to identify and contact the vehicle’s owner. Access for pedestrians and dismounted cyclists will be maintained at all times, as will access for emergency service vehicles in an emergency situation only. Vehicular access for residents and businesses will be maintained only when safe to do so, if necessary, via the diversion route.

Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2024
Surrey County Council propose to make the above-mentioned Temporary Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to prohibit vehicles from entering or proceeding in that length of Chaucer Road (D3246) Ashford as extends from its junction with (C241) Stanwell Road to its junction with (D3246) Coleridge Road. Alternative Route – Stanwell Road; Woodthorpe Road; Clarendon Road; and Coleridge Road. The Order is required to allow drainage installation works and/or any other associated works to be carried out by, or on behalf of Consara Construction Ltd within the length of road described in this notice. These works are anticipated to be carried out as soon as possible over two weeks between the hours of 8am and 5pm within the 12-month period of operation of the Temporary Order that commences on 04 November 2024. Advanced warning signs will be displayed and the temporary closure, which is anticipated to be in operation 24 hours per day, will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed. Access pedestrians, and dismounted cyclists will be maintained at all times. Access for residents within the closure area and the emergency services will be maintained at all times via the use of road plates. All other traffic will be required to use the signed diversion route.

Surrey County Council propose to make the above mentioned Temporary Order under Section 14(1) of and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to: – 1. Prohibit vehicles from entering or proceeding in: – a) The entire length of D152 Sebastopol Lane, Sandhills – Witley. b) That length of D152 Bannacle Hill Road, Sandhills – Witley that extends from its junction with D151 Church Lane, to its junction with D152 Sebastopol Lane. 2. Revoke “The Surrey County Council D152 Bannacle Hill Road, Sandhills – Witley Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2024”. This Traffic Order is required to enable BT Openreach to carry out ducting and/or cabling and/or connection and/or maintenance works. These works are anticipated to be carried out between the hours of 9:30am and 3:30pm within 4 days of the 12 month period of operation of this Temporary Order that commences on 29 October 2024. Advanced warning signs will be displayed and the temporary closure which is anticipated to be required for 24 hours each day, will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed. Temporary Prohibition of Waiting Order 2024
Surrey County Council propose to make the above mentioned Temporary Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to prohibit vehicles from waiting, loading, and unloading at any time on both sides of that length of D4027 Bellfields Road, Guildford that extends from the northern side of its junction with D4027 Mangles Road, to the northern side of its junction with Parsons Green. This Traffic Order is required to enable Winvic Construction Limited to carry out civil engineering works, to include: – highway improvements and/or realignment of kerbs and/or resurfacing and/or lining works. These works are anticipated to be carried out between the hours of 8am and 5pm within 6 weeks of the 12 month period of operation of this Temporary Order that commences on 28 October 2024. Advanced warning signs will be displayed and the temporary waiting restrictions which are anticipated to be required for 24 hours each day, will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed. Exemptions for any vehicle being used for ambulance, fire brigade or police purposes in an emergency, any vehicle being used in connection with the works vehicles, any vehicle when waiting because they are required by law to stop, are obliged to stop in order to prevent an accident or are prevented from proceeding because of circumstances outside the drivers control, and in respect of anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police constable in uniform or of a civil enforcement officer, will apply when the temporary waiting restrictions are in force. Surrey County Council propose to make the above mentioned Temporary Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to prohibit vehicles from entering or proceeding in that length of D3064 Kingston Rise, New Haw that extends from its junction with D3064 King Georges Drive, to its junction with D3063 The Broadway. This Traffic Order is required to enable Circet UK to carry out excavations and/or ducting and/or cabling and/or building of joint boxes and/or blockage clearing and/or repair and/or maintenance works. These works are anticipated to be carried out between the hours of 8am and 6pm, within 3 days of the 12 month period of operation of this Temporary Order that commences on 04 November 2024. Advanced warning signs will be displayed and the temporary closure will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed. Access for emergency vehicles, residents, businesses, pedestrians, cyclists and equestrians will be maintained at all times. Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2024
Surrey County Council propose to make the above-mentioned Temporary Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to prohibit vehicles from entering or proceeding in that length of D4006 Nightingale Road, Guildford that extends from its junction with A3100 London Road, for a distance of 50m. This Traffic Order is required to enable Surrey County Council to carry out highway improvements and/or installations, to include: – streetlighting, ducting, road table, footway widening and kerbing/tactile paving and/or surfacing and/or lining and/or maintenance works. These works are anticipated to be carried out between the hours of 8pm and 6am, within 2 weeks of the 18 month period of operation of this Temporary Order that commences on 25 October 2024. Advanced warning signs will be displayed and the temporary closure will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed. Access for pedestrians and, dismounted cyclists and equestrians will be maintained at all times. Access for emergency services, residents and businesses will be maintained at all times via the alternative route: – A3100 London Road, A25 Parkway, A320 Stoke Road and D4006 Nightingale Road. Any vehicle found to be obstructing the highway during these works will be removed to a suitable location outside the limits of the works after all reasonable methods have been undertaken to identify and contact the vehicle’s owner.
