Notice is hereby given that the Council made Orders under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

Barnfield Rd, Woolston (Prohibition of Driving)

Temporary Order 2024

The effect of which is to introduce a prohibition of driving on Barnfield Rd from its jct. with Hall Rd to its jct. with Austral Ave. The Order will be effective from 19th October 2024 for 2 days. The alternative route will be via Hall Rd, Rosedale Ave, Oakdene Ave & vice versa. The closure is required to allow United Utilities to install a new customer connection.

Greystone Rd, Penketh (Prohibition of Driving)

Temporary Order 2024

The effect of which is to introduce a prohibition of driving on Greystone Rd from its jct. with Meeting Ln to its jct. with Honiton Way. The Order will be effective from 21st October 2024 for 1 day. The alternative route will be via Honiton Way, Jubilee Ave, Meeting Ln & vice versa. The closure is required to allow Openreach to install a new telecom pole.

The temporary restrictions will be in place as & when the signs are in place on site. Access will be under the control of the relevant Contractor for the duration of the works.

The Borough of Warrington (B5356 Stretton Rd & Witherwin Ave)

(Establishment of Pedestrian Crossings) 2024

Notice is hereby given that the Council proposes to exercise its powers conferred by Section 23 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended & of all other enabling powers, by the installation of a Puffin Crossing facility on the road as detailed in Schedule 1 to this Notice & the installation of a Toucan Crossing facility on the road as detailed in Schedule 2 to this Notice. Deposited documents may be viewed on-line at https://www.warrington.gov.uk/permanent-traffic-regulation-orders or Contact Warrington, 1 Time Sq, Warrington, WA1 2NT between 9am & 5pm, Monday to Friday. All representations both in support or objecting to the proposals must be in writing either by post or delivered by hand to Legal Services, East Annexe, Town Hall, Sankey St, Warrington, WA1 1UH or emailed with full contact details to TROrepresentations@warrington.gov.uk by 31st October 2024 & all objections must specify the grounds on which they are made. Please note that all representations received may be considered in public by the Council & that the substance of any representation together with the name & address of the person making it could become available for public inspection.

B5356 Stretton Rd, Appleton Thorn — Located approx. 15m west of its jct. with Lumb Brook Rd & Arley Rd.

Schedule 2 – Toucan Crossing

Witherwin Avenue — Located approx. 210m southeast of its jct. with Astor Dr.
