What is happening?
CITY OF BRISTOL
(SILVERTHORNE LANE, ST. PHILIPS, BRISTOL) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF USE BY VEHICLES) ORDER 2024
NOTICE is hereby given that the City Council of Bristol in pursuance of the provisions of section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended intend to make an Order the effect of which will be to close, temporarily, to vehicles that length of Silverthorne Lane which extends from Kingsland Road eastwards to its closed end.
Exemption will be provided in the Order for vehicles requiring necessary access to premises situated on, adjacent to or accessible only from that closed length of road as specified above.
The Order is required because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the road and will be operative from 1st November 2024 for a maximum period of eighteen months. However, the closure may not be implemented for the whole of the period, but only as necessitated by the works (which are anticipated to take place between 1st November 2024 and 11th April 2025).
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: None – no through road
(RALPH ROAD, BISHOPSTON, BRISTOL) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF USE BY VEHICLES) ORDER 2024
NOTICE is hereby given that the City Council of Bristol in pursuance of the provisions of section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended intend to make an Order the effect of which will be to close, temporarily, to vehicles that length of Ralph Road which extends from Muller Road south westwards for 22 metres.
The Order is required because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the road and will be operative from 28th October 2024 for a maximum period of eighteen months. However, the closure may not be implemented for the whole of the period, but only as necessitated by the works (which are anticipated to take place between 28th October 2024 and 20th December 2024).
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: Ralph Road (part unaffected), Ashley Down Road, Gloucester Road, Muller Road and vice versa
