What is happening?

CITY OF BRADFORD METROPOLITAN DISTRICT COUNCIL (MOVING TRAFFIC) (CONSOLIDATION) (AMENDMENT NO.**) ORDER 202* TCF CYCLE SUPERHIGHWAY WEST BRADFORD EXTENSION SCHEME THORNTON ROAD

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that City of Bradford Metropolitan District Council proposes to make the above Order under their powers contained in the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 the general effect of which will be to introduce a change in the operation of times of the existing Bus Lane on Thornton Road from 4pm - 6:30pm, Monday - Friday to 24 hours daily.

A copy of the draft Order together with maps showing the affected roads and the Statement of Reasons for proposing to make the Order may be examined during normal office hours at the Customer Services Reception, Ground Floor, City Hall, Bradford BD1 1HY or examined on the council web site at https://www.bradford.gov.uk/transport-and-travel/highways/traffic-regulation-order or obtained from Engineer, Sukhpal Shergill - Planning, Transportation & Highways by email sukhpal.shergill@bradford.gov.uk quoting reference number PTH/HDC/104973/BL/SS. If you wish to object to the proposed Order you should send the grounds for your objection either by post to the address below or by e-mail to Objections@bradford.gov.uk to be received no later than 12 noon on Friday, 1st November 2024 quoting reference:- CORP/PCD/JLF/416986.
