ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 – SECTION 14(1)
(Malvern Road, Beeston, Leeds) (Temporary Prohibition Of Traffic) Order 2024
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the under mentioned highways (Road closure for gas mains replacement) Leeds City Council has made an Order the effect of which will be that: No person shall cause or permit any vehicle to travel along Malvern Road, Beeston, Leeds in the Beeston & Holbeck Ward between
its junctions with Normanton Grove and Cemetery Road. A diversionary route for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via: Cemetery Road, Beeston Road and vice versa.
Essential access to premises and for emergency vehicles will be maintained. The Order is intended to come into operation on Monday 14th October and will remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works are completed if earlier. The works are expected to be completed by Monday 28th October. The closure will be in place 24 hrs on each day. A Coultate. Ref: RC307827
(Marshall Street/Walton Street, Holbeck, Leeds) (Temporary Prohibition Of Traffic) Order 2024
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the under mentioned highways (Road closure to excavate on site) Leeds City Council has made an Order the effect of which will be that: No person shall cause or permit any vehicle to travel along Marshall Street/Walton Street, Holbeck, Leeds in the Beeston & Holbeck Ward
between its junctions with Trent Street and Sweet Street. A diversionary route for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via: Marshall Street, Jack Lane, Meadow Road, Sweet Street. Sweet Street, Meadow Road, Dewsbury Road, Jack Lane. Essential access to premises and for emergency vehicles will be maintained. The Order is intended to come into operation on
Monday 14th October 2024 and will remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works are completed if earlier. The works are expected to be completed byMonday 28th October 2024. The closure will be in place24 hrs on each day. A Coultate. Ref: RC610505
(Upper Basinghall Street, Leeds)
(Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2024
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the under mentioned highway(s) for Road closure for gas mains replacement Leeds City Council intends in not less than 7 days to make an Order the effect of which will be that:
No person shall cause or permit any vehicle to travel along Upper Basinghall Street, Leeds, Leeds in the Little London & Woodhouse Ward between its junctions with Butts Court and The Headrow. The bus gate on The Headrow between Albion Street and Upper Basinghall Street will be suspended for the duration of the works. A diversionary route for vehicles affected by the
closure will be available via: Butts Court, Short Street, Albion Street, The Headrow. Essential access to and from premises and for emergency vehicles will be maintained. The Order is intended to come into operation on Wednesday 30th October 2024 and will remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works are completed if earlier. The works are

(Temporary Prohibition of Waiting and Parking) Order 2024 – Scout Event at Golden Acre Park on 26 & 27 October 2024
Notice Is Hereby Given that because of the likelihood of danger arising to the public (due to the holding of the above event) Leeds City Council intends (in not less than 7 days) to make an Order, the effect of which will be that: No person shall cause or permit any vehicle to wait or park on Leeds Road Bramhope, for a distance of 80m on the left-hand (northbound) side of the road; from the termination of the double yellow lines, at a point 150m north of the car park entrance to Golden Acre Park. The Order is intended to be in operation on Saturday 26 October 2024 and Sunday 27 October 2024 between 08:00 hours and 17:00 hours each day. Mr N Gardiner

Definitive Footpath Morley 32) (Temporary Footpath Closure) Order 2024
The Council of the City of Leeds has made the LEEDS CITY COUNCIL (DEFINITIVE FOOTPATH MORLEY 32) (TEMPORARY FOOTPATH CLOSURE) ORDER 2024 under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. The effect of the Order is to close to pedestrians Definitive Footpath Morley 32 – between its junctions with Old Road and Elland Road, Churwell. The
diversion route for pedestrians is to proceed in a north easterly direction on Elland Road and then turn left onto Old Road, Churwell and vice-versa. The closure is necessary to enable works to be undertaken to the viaduct. This requires two periods of closure that will be in effect from 06:30 to 19:00 on each day (i) between 21 October 2024 and 27 October 2024 (Phase 1
Works); and (ii) between 25 November 2024 and 1 December 2024 (Phase 2 Works). The closures will be subject to such variation in commencement and termination dates as may be necessary to accommodate the works. In any event, the provisions of the Order will cease to have effect on the termination of the Phase 2 Works, which shall be no later than 21 April 2025. (Traffic Regulation) (Waiting Restrictions) (No.27) Order 2013 – Amendment (No.1) Order 2024 City Centre Zone 8 – Cookridge Street Traffic Management Proposals & Section 63 Local Government (Miscellaneous Provisions) Act 1976 Provision of A Hackney Carriage Stand on Cookridge Street
Leeds City Council proposes to make the above Order under its powers contained in the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to introduce the following traffic management measures on Cookridge Street, Leeds.
1. No Waiting At Any Time on: a. Cookridge Street (northern section/SE side); from a point 0.5m W of Portland Gate (eastern section), for 4.5m in a NE direction; and b. Cookridge Street, (northern section – SE side); from its junction with of Woodhouse Lane, for 45m in a SW direction. 2. No Waiting Except For Hackney Carriages (all days from 10;00pm until 8.00am)
on Cookridge Street (northern section/SE side); from a point 4m NE of Portland Gate (eastern section), for 33m in a northerly direction. 3. A Parking Place for the Purpose of Loading and Unloading Goods (all days and hours: 30 minutes – no return within 1 hour) on Cookridge Street, (northern section/SE side); from a point 48m NE of Portland Gate (eastern section), for 16m in a northerly direction. 4. A Parking Place for Car Club Vehicles on Cookridge Street (northern section/SE side); from a point 37m north-east of Portland Gate, (eastern Section), for 11m in a northerly direction. 5. A Parking Place for Motorcycles (all days and hours) on Cookridge Street, (northern section/SE side); from a point 0.5m SW of Portland Gate (eastern section), for
16m in a SW direction. 6. Pay and Display Parking on Cookridge Street (northern section/SE side) (Mon to Sat 8.00am to 10:00 pm & Sun 10am to 10pm) from a point 4m NE of Portland Gate (eastern section), for 33m in a northerly direction. Weekdays: 20 mins – £1.60; 40mins – £2.50; 1 hour – £3.40; 90 mins – £5.00; 2 hrs – £5.80; evenings -£3.70. Saturdays:
1 hour – £1.40; 2 hours -£2.40; 3 hrs – £3,40; 4 hours – £4.40; 5 hrs – £5.40: evenings – £3.70. Sundays: up to 4 hrs – £2.50, over 4 hrs – £5.50; evenings – £3.70. 7. The Appointment of a Stand for Six Hackney Carriages (operating all days from 10.00pm to 8.00am) on Cookridge Street (northern section); from a point 4m NE of Portland Gate (eastern section), for 33m northerly direction. (If no objections are received, this appointment will take effect not less than six weeks from the date below and following the erection of the relevant signs).
