Bartestree, Temporary Road Closure Due To Sewer Installation Works

NOTICE is hereby given that Herefordshire Council, as highway authority, have, under its relevant powers, made the following Order: C1130 From Whitestone Business Park To Sheepcote Lodge, Bartestree, Temporary Road Closure Order, to temporarily prohibit the use by vehicles on the C1130 From Whitestone Business Park To Sheepcote Lodge Via Bartestree, Bartestree, outside Hilltop. Grid Ref: 356497 / 241350.

The alternative route for those affected by the proposal is via the A4103 onto the C1148 onto the A438 and vice versa.

The said closure is required due to private sewer installation works and the likelihood of danger to the public while the works are taking place. The said closure will come into force on 21st October 2024 and remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months (unless extended with the consent of the Secretary of State) but the works are expected to be completed within 2 weeks.
