What is happening?

THE ROYAL BOROUGH OF 
WINDSOR & MAIDENHEAD
(B3022 ST LEONARDS ROAD (PART), 
WINDSOR) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION 
OF DRIVING) ORDER 2024
The Royal Borough of Windsor & Maidenhead intends, not less than seven days from the date of this Notice, to make an Order, the effect of which will be to:
Prohibit any vehicle or pedestrian from proceeding along that part of the B3022 Thames Street from its junction with Cavalry Crescent to its junction with Bolton Road. 

The alternative route for vehicles affected by the Order will be via the B3022 St Leonards Road, A308 Alma Road, A308 Goslar Way, B3173 Imperial Road and B3022 St Leonards Road.

The purpose of the proposed Order is to facilitate new crossing surfacing works, and as a result there is the likelihood of danger to the public.

The proposed Order will come into operation from 19:00 hours on Wednesday 30 October until 05:00 hours on Thursday 31 October 2024. The restriction shall apply at such times when signs as prescribed by the Traffic Sign Regulations and General Directions 2016 are in place to indicate the said restriction.
