(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC) ORDER 2024
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that West Northamptonshire Council intend, not less than seven days from the date of this Notice, to make an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit traffic from proceeding along that length of Overstone Road, Moulton as set out below.
LENGTH OF ROAD TO WHICH RESTRICTION APPLIES: That length of Overstone Road, Moulton from the junction of Chater Street to Pytchley View.
REASON FOR RESTRICTION: The restriction is required for safety during repair cover, frame and chamber.
PERIOD OF CLOSURE: The proposed Order will come into effect on 28th October 2024 and will continue in force for a period of eighteen months. An application may be made for the approval of the Secretary of State for Transport for the Order to be extended if this proves necessary. However, the restriction specified will have effect only at such times and to such an extent as is indicated by the display of signs prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.
EXPECTED DURATION: It is expected that the road will be restricted for 7 days.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that West Northamptonshire Council intend, not less than seven days from the date of this Notice, to make an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit traffic from proceeding along that length of Wood Burcote, Wood Burcote as set out below.
LENGTH OF ROAD TO WHICH RESTRICTION APPLIES: That length of Wood Burcote, Wood Burcote from the junction of A43 slip road to Towcester bypass roundabout.
REASON FOR RESTRICTION: The restriction is required for safety during works to sluice valves.
PERIOD OF CLOSURE: The proposed Order will come into effect on 23rd October 2024 and will continue in force for a period of eighteen months. An application may be made for the approval of the Secretary of State for Transport for the Order to be extended if this proves necessary. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that West Northamptonshire Council intend, not less than seven days from the date of this Notice, to make an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit traffic from proceeding along that length of The Green, Abthorpe as set out below.
LENGTH OF ROAD TO WHICH RESTRICTION APPLIES: That length of The Green, Abthorpe from the junction of Main Street to The Green.
REASON FOR RESTRICTION: The restriction is required for safety during repairs to new water connection.
PERIOD OF CLOSURE: The proposed Order will come into effect on 30th October 2024 and will continue in force for a period of eighteen months. (HELMDON ROAD, WESTON)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC) ORDER 2024
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that West Northamptonshire Council have made an Order the effect of which is to prohibit traffic from proceeding along that length of Helmdon Road, Weston as set out below.
LENGTH OF ROAD TO WHICH RESTRICTION APPLIES: That length of Helmdon Road, Weston from outside of Stone House Farm.
REASON FOR RESTRICTION: The restriction is required for safety during sewer connection works.
PERIOD OF CLOSURE: The proposed Order will come into effect on 14th October 2024 and will continue in force for a period of eighteen months. An application may be made for the approval of the Secretary of State for Transport for the Order to be extended if this proves necessary. However, the restriction specified will have effect only at such times and to such an extent as is indicated by the display of signs prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.
EXPECTED DURATION: It is expected that the road will be restricted for 5 days.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: use Helmdon Road, Weston Road, Wappenham Road, Helmdon Road, Greenside, Weedon Lois Road, Wappenham Road and High Street.

(POUNDFIELD ROAD, POTTERSPURY)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC) ORDER 2024
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that West Northamptonshire Council have made an Order the effect of which is to prohibit traffic from proceeding along that length of Poundfield Road, Potterspury as set out below.
LENGTH OF ROAD TO WHICH RESTRICTION APPLIES: That length of Poundfield Road, Potterspury from the junction of Mansion Gardens to A5.
REASON FOR RESTRICTION: The restriction is required for safety during carriageway repairs.
PERIOD OF CLOSURE: The proposed Order will come into effect on 14th October 2024 and will continue in force for a period of eighteen months. An application may be made for the approval of the Secretary of State for Transport for the Order to be extended if this proves necessary. However, the restriction specified will have effect only at such times and to such an extent as is indicated by the display of signs prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.
EXPECTED DURATION: It is expected that the road will be restricted for one day.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: use Poundfield Road, High Street and A5.

(FAIRWAY, NORTHAMPTON)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC) ORDER 2024
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that West Northamptonshire Council have made an Order the effect of which is to prohibit traffic from proceeding along that length of Fairway, Northampton as set out below.
LENGTH OF ROAD TO WHICH RESTRICTION APPLIES: That length of Fairway, Northampton from Kingsley Road to the first service road.
REASON FOR RESTRICTION: The restriction is required for safety during gas main replacement works.
PERIOD OF CLOSURE: The proposed Order will come into effect on 14th October 2024 and will continue in force for a period of eighteen months. An application may be made for the approval of the Secretary of State for Transport for the Order to be extended if this proves necessary. However, the restriction specified will have effect only at such times and to such an extent as is indicated by the display of signs prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.
EXPECTED DURATION: It is expected that the road will be restricted until 6th November 2024.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: use Hazeldene Road, Kenmuir Avenue, Kettering Road and Kingsley Road.

(LONG BUCKBY ROAD, EAST HADDON & GREAT BRINGTON)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC) ORDER 2024
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that West Northamptonshire Council have made an Order the effect of which is to prohibit traffic from proceeding along that length of Long Buckby Road, East Haddon and Great Brington as set out below.
LENGTH OF ROAD TO WHICH RESTRICTION APPLIES: That length of Long Buckby Road, East Haddon and Great Brington from 50 meters either side of Network Rail bridge structure.
REASON FOR RESTRICTION: The restriction is required for safety during stabilisation works for railway network.
PERIOD OF CLOSURE: The proposed Order will come into effect on 14th October 2024 and will continue in force for a period of eighteen months. An application may be made for the approval of the Secretary of State for Transport for the Order to be extended if this proves necessary. However, the restriction specified will have effect only at such times and to such an extent as is indicated by the display of signs prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.
EXPECTED DURATION: It is expected that the road will be restricted until 20th December 2024.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: use Lodge Lane, Northampton Road, West Haddon Road, Brington Road and East Haddon Road.
