Sandwell - Changes to Parking Restrictions

The council proposes to make The Borough Council of Sandwell (Waiting and Loading Restrictions) (Traffic Regulation Order No.18) 2024 which will have the effect introducing the following amendments:- 1) Introducing or extending ‘No Waiting at Any Time’ in part(s) of Bridge Street, Bromford Lane, Cottrell Street, Doranda Way, Edward Street, Glover Street, Grafton Road, Haines Street, Hallam Street, High Street, Raleigh Street, Sandwell Road, Sandwell Road North, Tunnel Road, Vowles Road and Wellington Street, West Bromwich. Hill Lane and Spouthouse Lane, Great Barr. Poppy Drive, Oxlip Close and Willowherb Close, Walsall. Lower High Street, Upper High Street, Spring Head, Market Place, Walsall Street, The Shambles, Wednesbury. 2) Remove ‘No Waiting at Any Time’ in part(s) of Sandwell Road, West Bromwich. 3) Reduce or remove pay and display in part(s) of Edward Street and Sandwell Road, West Bromwich. 4) Reduce length of limited waiting bay in part of High Street, West Bromwich. 5) Introduce limited waiting Monday to Saturday 8am to 6pm 2hrs no return within 3hrs in part of Lyng Lane, West Bromwich. 6) Introduce limited waiting Monday to Saturday 8am to 6pm 2hrs no return within 3hrs in part of Lower High Street, The Shambles and Walsall Street, Wednesbury. 7) Introduce residents parking, shared use Monday to Saturday 8am to 6pm 2hrs no return within 3hrs permit holders exempt in part(s) of Sandwell Road, West Bromwich. 8) Introduce ‘Disabled Parking at Any Time’ in part of Glover Street, West Bromwich. 9) Introduce ‘Disabled Parking at Any Time’ in part of The Shambles, Wednesbury. 10) Introduce ‘Disabled Parking at Any Time’ in part of Spring Head, Wednesbury. 11) Introduce ‘Taxi Rank to be in use At Any Time’ in part of The Shambles, Wednesbury.
