DUDLEY METROPOLITAN BOROUGH COUNCIL 

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 SECTION 14(1) DUDLEY METROPOLITAN BOROUGH COUNCIL (TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF AVENUE ROAD, OLD MEETING ROAD, AND PEARTREE LANE, COSELEY) ORDER 2024 

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Dudley Metropolitan Borough Council have made an Order, the effects of which will be the temporary closure of Avenue Road (from Tunnel Street to Old Meeting Road), Old Meeting Road (from Avenue Road to Wallbrook Street) and Peartree Lane (from Wallbrook Street to Pemberton Road), Coseley. The purpose of the restrictions is to safely facilitate a carriageway reconstruction on or near the affected road. The Order will come into force on Thursday 17th October 2024 and the works are anticipated to be completed on Friday 25th October 2024. The Order may remain in force for a period of up to 18 months, or until the works are completed, whichever is the earlier. Diversions for all northbound vehicular traffic shall be via: Tunnel Street, Fullwoods End, Gough Road, Church Road, and Pemberton Road. Diversions for all southbound vehicular traffic shall be via: Bayer Street, Bridge Street, Central Drive, Dimmocks Avenue, and Pemberton Road.
