(Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2024
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Bell Hill, Lamarsh in the District of Braintree, from a point approximately 340m south east of its junction with Cooks Green Lane for a distance of approximately 20m in a south easterly direction.
The closure is scheduled to commence on 28th October 2024 for 3 days, or where stated on a valid permit (AD03164703485 – Anglian Water). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while valve repair works are undertaken by Anglian Water.
An alternative route is available via Colne Road, Hornes Green Road, Peyton Hall Road, Bures Road, Pebmarsh Road, Lower Green, Lamarsh Road, Alphamstone Road and vice versa (with access only into Henny Road, Bures Road, Bell Hill, Springett’s Hill, Lamarsh Hill). The Order will come into effect on 10th October 2024 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
