Lincoln Way, Beverley - Temporary Prohibition Of Through Traffic For Roundabout Reconstruction And New Highway Alignment Works
What is happening?
THE EAST RIDING OF YORKSHIRE COUNCIL
(LINCOLN WAY, BEVERLEY (PART)) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC) ORDER 2024
East Riding of Yorkshire Council has made an Order the effect of which is to prohibit any person from causing any vehicle to proceed along part of Lincoln Way, Beverley between regiment Roundabout Lincoln Way at the junction with Dunnock Drive. The reason for the closure is to enable the proposed roundabout reconstruction and new highway alignment works as part of the A164 and Jocks Lodge Junction Improvement Scheme, to be carried out and completed in a manner consistent with ensuring the safety of the public. It is anticipated that the works will be completed by 12 July 2025. The alternative route for traffc affected by the Order is via the remainder of Lincoln Way (heading north), Woodmansey Mile and Victoria Road, Beverley.
The road will be open at all times to pedestrians and for vehicular access to properties directly affected by the closure and for emergency services.
The Order will commence 14 October 2024 and continue in force for a period not exceeding eighteen months or until the works which it is proposed to carry out have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
