What is happening?

SECTION 14(1) OF THE ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984

Notice is hereby given that the Wiltshire Council intends to make Orders to close temporarily to all traffic: A) C12 (Part), Stratford Toney and Coombe Bissett; from its junction with C320 to its property known as Coombe Farm Cottages to enable Openreach to carry out pole test and associated works. Alternative route via C12 (unaffected length) - A354 - A3094 - C320 and vice versa. This Order will come into operation on 07 November 2024 and the closure will be required between the hours of 09:30 and 15:30 for 1 day. B) C287 (Part), Laverstock and Ford; from its junction with A338 to its junction with Ford Lane to enable Scottish and Southern Power Distribution to carry out tree cutting and associated works. Alternative route via C287 (unaffected length) - A345 - C56 - A338 and vice versa. This Order will come into operation on 07 November 2024 and the closure will be required between the hours of 09:30 and 15:30 for 1 day. Notice is hereby given that the Wiltshire Council has made Orders to close temporarily to all traffic: C) St Edmunds Church Street (Part), Salisbury; from its junction with Salt Lane to its junction with St Edmunds Gate to enable Wessex Water to carry out mains, manhole repairs and associated works. Alternative route via St Edmunds Church Street (unaffected length) - Winchester Street - Rollestone Street - Salt Lane and vice versa. This Order will come into operation on 16 October 2024 and the closure will be required between the hours of 09:30 and 12:30 for 1 day. D) Western Way, Salisbury; from its junction with Stanley Little Road to its junction with Pembroke Road to enable Miles McAdam to carry out carriageway resurfacing and associated works. No alternative route is available. This Order will come into operation on 17 October 2024 and the closure will be required between the hours of 07:00 and 16:00 until 31 October 2024. E) Avon Approach (Part), Salisbury; from its junction with Castle Street for a distance of approximately 100m in a westerly direction to enable Wessex Water to carry out manhole repairs and associated works. No alternative route is available. This Order will come into operation on 15 October 2024 and the closure will be required between the hours of 22:00 and 23:59 for 1 night. For further information please contact Wessex Water on 0345 6004600. Orders A) to E) will have a maximum duration of 18 months. The closures and diversion routes will be clearly indicated by traffic signs. It is anticipated that the works will take the stated duration to complete depending upon weather conditions. Access will be maintained for residents and businesses where possible, although delays are likely due to the nature of the works.

Notice is hereby given that Wiltshire Council intends to make an Order to close temporarily, to all vehicles, the lengths of roads specified in the Schedule to this notice. The order is required to enable carriageway patching, surface dressing and associated maintenance works and will be operative from the 04 November 2024 for a maximum period of 18 months. The closures are anticipated to be for up to 5 days but only when traffic signs are in position and only for so long as is necessitated by the works. It is anticipated that advance signs will be deployed 2 weeks prior to the closure dates. Access will be maintained where possible although delays are likely due to the nature of the works. The closures are anticipated to take place between 04 November 2024 and 03 January 2025. Schedule 1. A345 (Part), Netheravon and Enford; from its junction with Mill Lane to its junction with Enford Hill. 2. A346 (Part), Collingbourne Ducis; from its junction with A338 to its junction with A342. 3. B3083 (Part), Stapleford; from its junction with A36 to outside its property known as Goose Orchard. 4. Rose Lane, Odstock; from its junction with Nunton Drove to its junction with C12. 5. C12 (Part), Odstock; from its junction with Rose Lane to its junction with Odstock Road and from its junction with Rose Lane to its junction with A338. 6. C32 (Part), Bulford and Amesbury; from its junction with A3028 to its junction with Porton Road. 7. The Packway (Part), Shrewton and Durrington; from its junction with B3086 to its junction with Ross Road. 8. Marina Crescent, Durrington; from its junction with Stonehenge Road to its junction with Marina Close. 9. Marina Close, Durrington; from its junction with Marina Crescent for its entire length. 10. C295 (Part), Donhead St Mary; from its junction with A30 to its junction with B3081. 11. London Road (Part), Amesbury; from its junction with A345 to its junction with Beacon Close. 12. Green Lane, Sedgehill and Semley; from its junction with C299 to its junction with C300. 13. Lagpond Lane, Sutton Mandeville; from its junction with Sutton Hill to its junction with Chicksgrove Road. 14. A30 (Part), Donhead St Mary; from its junction with New Lane to its junction with Coronation Close. 15. Humber Lane (Part), Tidworth; from its junction with Jagdalik Road to its junction with Bulford Road. 16. C11 (Part), Tidworth; from its junction with Humber Lane to its junction with Bulford Road. 17. New Road, Landford; from its junction with A36 to its junction with B3079. 18. Five Ash Lane, Longbridge Deverill and Sutton Veny; from its junction with A350 to its junction with C10. 19. Odstock Road (Part), Odstock; from its junction with C12 for a distance of approximately 375m in a northerly direction. 20. A27 (Part), Whiteparish; from its junction with A36 for a distance of approximately 830m in an easterly direction. 20.
