Order made: To close that part of U52303 Orchard Street from its junction with U52304 Stanley Street to its junction with U52306 Berwick Street.

Reason: Installation of dropped kerb by WCC.

Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.

Alternative route: U52303 Orchard Street (part), U52306 Berwick Street, U52305 Cavendish Street, U52303 Orchard Street (part) and vice versa.

Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 2 days. Commencing: 17 October 2024.

(U52112 Chestnut Street, Worcester) (Temporary Closure) and (Chestnut Street, Worcester) (One-Way Traffic) Order 2000 (Temporary Suspension) Order 2024

Proposed Order: To close that part of U52112 Chestnut Street from its junction with U50106 Little Chestnut Street to its junction with C2294 Chestnut Walk and to temporarily suspend (Chestnut Street, Worcester) (One-Way Traffic) Order 2000 to allow two-way traffic to access businesses and residents for the duration of the Order.

Reason: New customer connection by National Grid.

Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.

No access for emergency services diversion route must be followed.

Alternative route: C2294 Chestnut Walk, C2294 Sansome Walk, U50108

Northfield Street, U50106 Little Chestnut Street and vice versa.

Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 3 days (24hrs). Commencing: 4 November 2024.

(B4636 Nunnery Way to A4538 Pershore Lane, Spetchley) (Eastbound/Full Closure) and (Temporary 30 Mph Speed Limit) (Westbound) Order 2024

Proposed Order: To close that part of: A. B4636 Nunnery Way to A4538 Pershore Lane (Eastbound only) from its junction with A4440 Cattle Market Roundabout to its junction with A4538 Crowle Roundabout. B. To impose a temporary 30 mph speed limit on that part of B4636 Nunnery Way from its junction with A4538 Pershore Lane to its junction with A4440 Cattle Market Roundabout (Westbound only). C: To close B4636 Nunnery Way to A4538 Pershore Lane from its junction with A4440 Cattle Market Roundabout to its junction with A4538 Crowle Roundabout in both directions for the remainder of the works.

Reason: Worcester 6 Southern extension and widening of Pershore Lane and resurfacing by Montel Civil Engineering.

Exemptions: Special Forces vehicles.

Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 159 days (24hrs). Commencing: 4 November 2024 (Eastbound closure only: 04 November-7 April 2025) (Westbound speed restriction 4 September to 7 April 2025) (Full Closure: 8 April 2025 -11 April 2025).

(U47607 Church Lane, Whittington) (Temporary Closure) Order 2024

Proposed Order: To close that part of U47607 Church Lane from its junction with U47609 Old Road to its junction with U47606 Walkers Lane.

Reason: Utility works by Severn Trent Water.

Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.

Alternative route: Anticlockwise Diversion: U47606 Walkers Lane, A4440 Swinesherd Way, A4440 Whittington Road, U47607 Church Lane (part). Clockwise Diversion: U47607 Church Lane (part), A440 Whittington Road, A4440 Swinesherd Way (Northbound), A4440 Nunnery Way, A4440 Swinesherd Way (Southbound), U47606 Walkers Lane.

Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 2 days (24hrs). Commencing: 7 November 2024.

(U54121 Penhill Crescent, Worcester) (Temporary Closure) Order 2024

Proposed Order: To close that part of U54121 Penhill Crescent from its junction with U54121 Brookside Road to its junction with U54121 Greenacres Road.

Reason: Footway reconstruction by WCC.

Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.

Alternative route: U54122 Sapphire Crescent, U54123 Penhill Crescent and vice versa.

Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 3 days. Commencing: 4 November 2024.

(C2067 Bell Lane, Lower Broadheath) (Temporary Closure) Order 2024

Proposed Order: To close that part of C2067 Bell Lane from its junction with Grange Lane (NSG Ref.24406810) to its junction with U62413 Sling Lane.

Reason: Kerb line installation to prevent flooding to property by WCC.

Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.

Alternative route: C2067 Bell Lane (part), B4204 Martley Road, B4204 Sailors Bank to Kenswick, B4204 Wichenford, C2238 Wichenford, C2252 Wichenford, C2252 Broadwas, C2066 Cobblers Corner, C2066 Ankerdine Road and vice versa.

Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 3 days (24hrs). Commencing: 4 November 2024.

(U41202 Chawson Lane, Salwarpe) (Temporary Closure) Order 2024

Order made: To close that part of U41202 Chawson Lane from its junction with U41201 Salwarpe Lane to its junction with U41661 Barns Croft Way.

Reason: Carriageway patching by WCC.

Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.

Alternative route: U41201 Salwarpe Lane, C2086 Copcut Lane, A38 Droitwich Road, A38 Roman Way, A4133 High Park Roundabout, C2254 Ombersley Way, U41202 New Chawson Lane and vice versa.

(B4197 Woodbury Hill, Great Witley) (Temporary Closure) Order 2024

Order made: To close that part of B4197 Woodbury Hill from its junction with U64404 Home Farm Lane to its junction with C2229 Hillside.

Reason: Minor carriageway reconstruction by WCC.

Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.

Order made: To close that part of C2056 Rebecca Road from its junction with C2100 Besford Road to its junction with U47625 Chevington Lane.

Reason: Carriageway patching by WCC.

Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.

Proposed Order: To close that part of U43426 Stonepit Lane from its junction with U43427 Greenscroft Way to its junction with junction with C2051 Withybed Lane.

Reason: New Customer Connection by National Grid.

Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.

Alternative route: U43426 Stonepit Lane(part), C2051 Withybed Lane, A422 Worcester Road, U43426 Stonepit Lane (part) and vice versa.

Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 5 days (24hrs). Commencing: 4 November 2024.

Proposed Order: to close that part of U47623 Harewell Lane from its junction with C2100 Ladywood Road to its junction with U47623 St. Peters Lane.

Reason: Drainage work for flood alleviation by WCC.

Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.

Proposed Order: To close that part of U51309 Sycamore Road from its junction with U51312 Laurel Road to its junction with U51309 Highland Road.

Order made: To close that part of Link Footpath F50293 (rear Abbotsbury Court) St Peters Drive from its junction with C2287 St Peters Drive to its junction with Link Footpath F50291 St Peters Drive (between Abbotsbury/Supermarket to St Peters Drive).

Reason: Footway reconstruction by WCC.

Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.

Alternative route: Link Footpath F50291 St Peters Drive (between Abbotsbury/ Supermarket to St Peters Drive, C2287 St Peters Drive and vice versa). Maximum duration: 6 Months.

Order made: To close that part of U50126 St Georges Lane South from its junction with A38 Barbourne Road for a distance of 45 metres in an Easterly direction.

Reason: New customer connection by Severn Trent Water

Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.

Alternative route: A38 Barbourne Road, U51000 St. Georges Lane North, U50126 St. Georges Lane South (part) and vice versa.

Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 3 days. Commencing: 14 October 2024.
