NOTICE is hereby given that the City of Doncaster Council
have made an Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic
Regulation Act 1984 as amended by the Road Traffic
(Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991 because works are being
or proposed to be executed on or near the road and the effect
will be to prohibit any vehicle from proceeding in that length of
Field Road at Stainforth in the City of Doncaster District and
suspend the One Way as described in the Schedule to this
notice on the dates and times referred to in the
said Schedule.
Reason for closure: To ensure the safety of the public and the
workforce whilst works for street lighting replacement
are undertaken.
NOTICE is also given that the alternative route for vehicles
affected by the Order is via Princess Avenue, Junction Road,
East Lane. Those residents and businesses directly affected
by the works are to be notified of the scheme to include
access arrangements.
Any vehicle that is in contravention of the waiting restriction
imposed by this Order may be removed under the provisions
of the Removal and Disposal of Vehicles Regulations 1986.
Any contravention of the prohibitions or restrictions imposed
by this Order may result in a Penalty Charge Notice being
issued and the subsequent removal of a vehicle.

In the event of engineering difficulties and/or adverse weather
conditions, the closure may extend beyond this date although

October 2024. The road will reopen daily.
The Closure will take place on three consecutive evenings
between 20:00hrs and 06:00hrs only.
The works will be undertaken in phases and due to the nature
of the works exact dates are subject to change. In the event
of engineering difficulties and/or adverse weather conditions,
the closure may extend beyond this date although all closures
to be completed by the 31st October 2024.
