Proposed - Controlled Parking ACTON LANE & CHASE ROAD Permit holders or Pay by Phone Monday to Friday, 0800 - 1800 hours.
1. The Ealing (Parking Places) (PR-I Telephone Parking) Order 202*.
1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the London Borough of Ealing, proposes to make the abovementioned Order, under sections 45, 46, 49 and 124 and of Parts III and IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
2. The proposals advertised on 11 September 2024 for the proposed permit parking places changes for P060-2024 in relation to Acton Lane and Chase Road only have been abandoned. All remaining proposals from P060-2024 shall continue to be processed.
3. The general effect of the proposed Order would be to (in addition to the remaining proposals for P060-24) would be to designate “shared use” ‘pay by phone and permit holder parking places’ for vehicles where the driver has paid the parking charge by phone or vehicles in respect of which a valid parking permit has been granted: on lengths of Acton Lane and Chase Road. * Vehicles would be able to park in these parking places if they display a valid permit during the operational hours without limit.
* All the above proposed parking places would accept the following: (a) carer’s parking permit; (b) PR-I parking permit; (c) religious parking permit, (c) service parking permit;
(d) borough wide visitor service voucher; (e) visitor voucher for vulnerable people;
(f) PR-I visitors parking permit. Passenger vehicles, goods carrying vehicles, motorcycles and disabled persons vehicles may be left in a parking place without limitation on time during the controlled hours and provided that with the exception of motorcycles and disabled persons vehicles, a valid (in an electronic form) PR-I zone parking permit or parking voucher has been issued to the vehicle. Parking permit eligibility, charges for: parking permits; parking vouchers, “pay by phone” parking charges, would be as detailed in Schedules to this Notice. Users of the telephone payment system should follow the instructions displayed at the parking place quoting the unique number relating to that parking place to the service provider and providing information as requested. Payment of the parking charge can then be made using most debit and credit cards. Text receipt for the parking session and expiry of parking reminder text messages are available free of charge.
4. The proposed Order, other documents giving more detailed particulars of the Order including a plan, are available by e-mail request to ‘trafficnotices@ealing.gov.uk’ or by inspection at Customer Services Reception, Perceval House, 14-16 Uxbridge Road W5 2HL between 9:00am and 4:45pm on Monday to Friday, until 6 weeks have elapsed from the date on which either the Orders are made, or the Council decides not to make the Order.
5. Any enquiries, objections or other representations about any of the proposed Order should be sent in writing by e-mail to ‘trafficnotices@ealing.gov.uk’ or by post to Highways Service, Perceval House, 14-16 Uxbridge Road W5 2HL, quoting reference P076-2024 until 30 October 2024. All objections must specify the grounds on which they are made and should include the address of the author.

There would be a £20 discount for electric vehicles from the above charges, however there is a minimum charge of £20 for a permit. Older diesel vehicles (manufactured in 2015 or before) would be subject to an additional charge of £55. Each additional vehicle at the same address will incur an additional charge of £60 multiplied by the number of additional vehicles at that address.
2. PR-I Visitors Parking Permits can be purchased at a cost of 90 pence per hour or £4.95 for all day. These parking permits would be issued in an electronic form.
3. Borough wide visitors’ service vouchers would be available to park at a cost of £2.60 per hour.

The charges for parking in the “shared use” parking places would be in line with existing charges: 40 pence per hour up to a maximum charge of £4.20 per day.
