What is happening?

HERTFORDSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL:

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984

TEMPORARY CLOSING OF FOOTPATH HEMEL HEMPSTEAD 20

NOTICE is given that the Hertfordshire County Council intend to make an Order under Section 14 (1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit pedestrians from using that length of Footpath Hemel Hempstead 20, section heading north and south at junction with The Avenue, for an approximate distance of 30m.

Alternative Route: no suitable alternative on PRoW network The purpose of the Order is to enable development works to take place. The section of Footpath Hemel Hempstead 20 will be closed on or after 28 October 2024 for up to 5 months, when signs are in place.

(TEMPORARY CLOSING AND TEMPORARY WAITING RESTRICTIONS IN ASTROPE LANE, LONG MARSTON) ORDER 2024

NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of Astrope Lane, Long Marston from its junction with Watery Lane north westwards and north eastwards for a distance of approximately 350m (“the Road”), except for access.

An alternative route will be via Watery Lane, Tring Road, Wingrave Road, Tring Road and Astrope Lane.

ADDITIONALLY all vehicles are prohibited from waiting at any time on both sides of this length of the Road whilst works are in progress.

The Order is needed because works are proposed to be executed on or near the Road. If the Order is made, it shall come into force on 28 October 2024 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Road.

(TEMPORARY CLOSING AND TEMPORARY WAITING RESTRICTIONS IN VARIOUS ROADS IN HEMEL HEMPSTEAD, TRING AND BERKHAMSTED) ORDER 2024

NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using the following lengths of roads (“the Roads”), except for access and to prohibit all vehicles from waiting at any time on both sides of these lengths of Roads whilst works are in progress:-

1. that length of Broad Street, Hemel Hempstead from its junction with Alexandra Road north eastwards to its junction with East Street, a distance of approximately 113m.

An alternative route will be via Alexandra Road, Midland Road and East Street.

2.  that length of Hazely, Tring from its junction with Sycamore Drive south eastwards for its entire length.

There is no alternative route available for vehicles when the works are being carried out. However vehicular access to properties in this road will be maintained whenever possible throughout the duration of the works.

3.  that length of Harepark Close, Hemel Hempstead from its junction with Micklem Drive south westwards for its entire length.

There is no alternative route available for vehicles when the works are being carried out. However vehicular access to properties in this road will be maintained whenever possible throughout the duration of the works.

4.  that length of Ganymede Place, Hemel Hempstead from its junction with Jupiter Drive north westwards for its entire length.

There is no alternative route available for vehicles when the works are being carried out. However vehicular access to properties in this road will be maintained whenever possible throughout the duration of the works.

5.  that length of Bury Hill Close, Hemel Hempstead from its junction with Bury Hill north westwards for its entire length.

There is no alternative route available for vehicles when the works are being carried out. However vehicular access to properties in this road will be maintained whenever possible throughout the duration of the works.

6.  that length of St Nicholas Mount, Hemel Hempstead from a point 97 metres south west of its junction with Green End Lane north westwards and south eastwards for a distance of approximately 95m.

There is no alternative route available for vehicles when the works are being carried out. However vehicular access to properties in this road will be maintained whenever possible throughout the duration of the works.

7.  that length of Great Whites Road, Hemel Hempstead from its junction with Lime Walk north eastwards, south eastwards and north eastwards to its junction with Long John, a distance of approximately 183m.

An alternative route will be via Lime Walk, Hancroft Road and Long John.

8.  that length of Robbs Close, Hemel Hempstead from its junction with Howards Drive north eastwards and north westwards for its entire length.

There is no alternative route available for vehicles when the works are being carried out. However vehicular access to properties in this road will be maintained whenever possible throughout the duration of the works.

9.  that length of Austins Place, Hemel Hempstead from its junction with Figtree Hill south westwards to its junction with High Street, a distance of approximately 54m.

An alternative route will be via Figtree Hill, George Street, Allandale, Chapel Street, Church Street, Townsend, Fletcher Way and High Street.

10. that length of Oakwood, Hemel Hempstead from its junction with Dennys Lane north westwards and north eastwards to its junction with Shootersway, a distance of approximately 56m.

An alternative route will be via Dennys Lane and Shootersway.

11.  the access road leading to ‘Hillcrest’, Hemel Hempstead from its junction with Felden Lane north westwards for its entire length.

There is no alternative route available for vehicles when the works are being carried out. However vehicular access to properties in this road will be maintained whenever possible throughout the duration of the works.

12.  nthat length of Corner Hall, Hemel Hempstead from its junction with A4146 Station Road south eastwards for a distance of approximately 52m.

There is no alternative route available for vehicles when the works are being carried out. However vehicular access to properties in this road will be maintained whenever possible throughout the duration of the works.

13. that length of Callisto Court, Hemel Hempstead from its junction with Jupiter Drive north westwards for its entire length.

There is no alternative route available for vehicles when the works are being carried out. However vehicular access to properties in this road will be maintained whenever possible throughout the duration of the works.

14.  that length of Bury Hill, Hemel Hempstead from its junction with Warners End Road south westwards and north westwards for a distance of approximately 229m.

There is no alternative route available for vehicles when the works are being carried out. However vehicular access to properties in this road will be maintained whenever possible throughout the duration of the works.

15.  that length of Cemmaes Court Road, Hemel Hempstead from its junction with Bury Hill south eastwards, south westwards and south eastwards to its junction with Astley Road, a distance of approximately 307 m.

An alternative route will be via Bury Hill, Warners End Road, A4146 Leighton Buzzard Road and Astley Road.

16.  that length of Sunnyhill Road, Hemel Hempstead from its junction with Melstead Road south eastwards to its junction with Glenview Road, a distance of approximately 314m.

An alternative route will be via Melsted Road, Lockers Park Lane and Glenview Road.

17.  that length of Hazeldell Road, Hemel Hempstead from its junction with Long Chaulden south westwards, westwards and south westwards to its junction with The Foxgloves, a distance of approximately 184m.

There is no alternative route available for vehicles when the works are being carried out. However vehicular access to properties in this road will be maintained whenever possible throughout the duration of the works.

18.  that length of Cangels Close, Hemel Hempstead from its junction with Northridge Way south westwards and south eastwards to its junction with Moorlands Road, a distance of approximately 134m.

An alternative route will be via Northridge Way, Fishery Road and Moorlands Road.

19.  that length of Seaton Road, Hemel Hempstead from its junction with Lawn Lane north eastwards to its junction with Runham Road, a distance of approximately 512 m.

An alternative route will be via Lawn Lane, Deaconsfield Road and Runham Road.

20.  that length of Sunrise Crescent, Hemel Hempstead from its easternmost junction with Langley Avenue clockwise for a distance of approximately 118 m.

An alternative route will be via Langley Avenue.

21. that length of Pamela Avenue, Hemel Hempstead from its junction with Langley Avenue south eastwards for its entire length.

There is no alternative route available for vehicles when the works are being carried out. However vehicular access to properties in this road will be maintained whenever possible throughout the duration of the works.

22.  that length of Ranelagh Road, Hemel Hempstead from its junction with the Vauxhall Road roundabout south eastwards for its entire length.

There is no alternative route available for vehicles when the works are being carried out. However vehicular access to properties in this road will be maintained whenever possible throughout the duration of the works.

23.  that length of Willow Way, Hemel Hempstead from its junction with Gadebridge Lane south eastwards for its entire length.

There is no alternative route available for vehicles when the works are being carried out. However vehicular access to properties in this road will be maintained whenever possible throughout the duration of the works.

24. that length of Langdon Street, Tring from its junction with Park Road north westwards to its junction with the B4635 High Street/B4635 Western Road roundabout, a distance of approximately 330 m.

An alternative route will be via Park Road, Akeman Street and B4635 High Street.

25. that length of The Nokes, Hemel Hempstead from its junction with Raybarn Road south eastwards, south westwards and south eastwards for a distance of approximately 131 m.

An alternative route will be via Raybarn Road, Howards Drive and Galley Hill.

26.  that length of Half Moon Meadow, Hemel Hempstead from its junction with B487 Redbourn Road south eastwards to its junction with Hunters Oak, a distance of approximately 107m.

An alternative route will be via B487 Redbourn Road, The Melings and Hunters Oak. 27. that length of Elm Tree Walk, Tring from its junction with Silk Mill Way south westwards, north westwards, south westwards and south eastwards for its entire length. There is no alternative route available for vehicles when the works are being carried out. However vehicular access to properties in this road will be maintained whenever possible throughout the duration of the works.

28.  that length of Boswick Lane, Dudswell from its junction with Dudswell Lane south westwards, south eastwards and south westwards to its junction with A4251 Tring Road, a distance of approximately 365 m.

An alternative route will be via Dudswell Lane and A4251 Tring Road.

29. that length of East Street, Hemel Hempstead from its junction with Broad Street south eastwards to its junction with Midland Road, a distance of approximately 92 m.

An alternative route will be via Broad Street, Alexandra Road and Midland Road.

The Order is needed because works are proposed to be executed on or near the Roads. If the Order is made, it shall come into force on 28 October 2024 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Roads.

(TEMPORARY CLOSING OF PARK LANE AND SELDEN HILL, HEMEL HEMPSTEAD) ORDER 2024

NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using the following lengths of roads (“the Roads”):-

1.  that length of Park Lane, Hemel Hempstead from its junction with Paradise south eastwards to its junction with Selden Hill, a distance of approximately 106 m.

An alternative route will be via Paradise, Wood Lane, A414 St Albans Road, the Jarman Way roundabout, A414 St Albans Road and Selden Hill.

2.   that length of Selden Hill, Hemel Hempstead from its junction with Park Lane south westwards to its junction with Wolsey Road, a distance of approximately 59 m.

An alternative route will be via Paradise, Wood Lane, A414 St Albans Road, the Jarman Way roundabout, A414 St Albans Road and Selden Hill. The Order is needed because gas works are proposed to be executed on or near the Roads.

The Order has been made and shall come into force on 14 October 2024 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Roads.

(TEMPORARY CLOSING OF BROWNLOW ROAD, BERKHAMSTED) ORDER 2024

NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of Brownlow Road, Berkhamsted from its junction with Station Road south eastwards to its junction with Lower Kings Road, a distance of approximately 56m (“the Road”).

An alternative route will be via Brownlow Road, Bridgewater Road, Billet Lane, A4251 (Gossoms End/High Street) and Lower Kings Road.

The Order is needed because bridge works are proposed to be executed near the Road. The Order has been made and shall come into force on 13 October 2024 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Road.

(TEMPORARY CLOSING OF CHAMBERSBURY LANE, HEMEL HEMPSTEAD) ORDER 2024

NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of Chambersbury Lane, Hemel Hempstead from its junction with Bedmond Road south westwards for a distance of approximately 70m (“the Road”), except for access.

An alternative route will be via Bedmond Road, A4147 (Leverstock Green Road/ Leverstock Green Way), A414 St Albans Road, Bennetts End Road, Peascroft Road, Northend and Chambersbury Lane.

The Order is needed because water service connection works are proposed to be executed on or near the Road.

The Order has been made and shall come into force on 16 October 2024 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Road.
