The Ealing (School Streets - Drayton Green) (No. 1) Order 2024
1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the London Borough of Ealing, on 7 October 2024 made the above-titled Order, under sections 6, 29 and 124 of and Parts III and IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
2. The general effect of the made school street Order will be to prohibit motor vehicles from using Drayton Gardens, Drayton Grove, Drayton Green, (between Drayton Avenue and Sutherland Road), on Mondays to Fridays 8.15-9,15am and 2.45-3.45pm. Access permit address eligibility for each school area would be as detailed in the Schedule to this Notice. Exemptions would be provided for emergency services vehicles, permit holders: residents who live within the zone.
3. The made Order, which will come into operation on 14 October 2024, and other documents giving more detailed particulars of the Order including plans, are available by e-mail from ‘trafficnotices@ealing.gov.uk’ or for inspection at Customer Services Reception, Perceval House, 14-16 Uxbridge Road W5 2HL between 9:00am and 4:45pm on Monday to Friday, until six weeks of the date on which the Orders were made.
4. Any person desiring to question the validity of the Orders or any provision contained therein on the grounds that they are not within the relevant powers of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, or that any of the relevant regulations made thereunder have not been complied with in relation to the Orders may, within six weeks of the date on which the Orders were made, make an application for the purpose to the High Court.
