D5514 Bunch Lane, Haslemere
Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order (No.2) 2024

Surrey County Council propose to make the above mentioned Temporary Order under Section 14(1) and (7) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to: – 1. Prohibit vehicles from entering or proceeding in the entire length of D5514 Bunch Lane, Haslemere. 2.a) Suspend “ The Surrey County Council Bunch Lane (D5514) Haslemere Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2024” in its entirety. b) Suspend “The Surrey County Council D5514 Bunch Lane and D5527 Tennysons Lane Haslemere Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2024” in its entirety. This Traffic Order is required to enable Southern Gas Networks to carry out essential gas works in D5514 Bunch Lane outside “Turf Run, Bunch Lane”. These works are anticipated to be carried out between the hours of 8am and 4pm, within 5 days of the 12 month period of operation of this Temporary Order that commences on 04 November 2024. Advanced warning signs will be displayed and the temporary closure which is anticipated to be required for 24 hours each day, will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed. Access for pedestrians and, dismounted cyclists and equestrians will be maintained at all times. Access for emergency vehicles, residents and businesses will be maintained at all times via the alternative route:

- Bunch Lane, St Christophers Green, Wey Hill, Weydown Road, Inval Hill and Bunch Lane.

Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2024

Surrey County Council propose to make the above mentioned Temporary Traffic Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 the effect of which will be to prohibit vehicles from entering or proceeding in:- (a) the entire length of D5353 Bishops Road, Farnham; (b) that length of D5353 Hope Lane, Farnham which extends from its junction with Bishops Road and the southern property boundary of “Lingmell”. This Order is required to enable 4 Site Fibre Ltd to facilitate fibre works, which is anticipated to be completed within 5 days, between 8am and 5pm, during the 12 month period of operation of this Order which will commence on 28 October 2024. Advanced warning signs will be displayed and the temporary closure, which is anticipated to be in force 24 hours per day, will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed. Access to premises within the affected length of road including access by emergency vehicles to these properties will be maintained at all times, as will access for pedestrians and cyclists. Alternative Route – Upper Hale Road, Spring Lane and Folly Lane North or vice versa.
