What is happening?
Temporary Road Closure – Barnes Lane, Milford-On-Sea, New Forest
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Hampshire County Council intends to make an order under S.14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to allow works to be carried out on or near the road.
ROAD TO BE CLOSED: That part of Barnes Lane between its junction with Manor Road and continuing for 367 metres along Barnes Lane Northwards.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: A337, B3058, Manor Road
DURATION OF ORDER: From Wednesday 23rd October 2024 for a period of 6 months or until completion of the works whichever is sooner. (Notwithstanding, it is expected that the closure will be required for no longer than 1 day and working between the hours 09:30-15:30).
