Temporary Road Traffic Regulation Order road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 Section 14 (As Amended)
Notice is hereby given that the City Council has made the following Temporary Road Traffic Order:
ORDER NO. MCC140461460: The City of Manchester (Various Locations, Miles Platting & Newton Heath Ward) (Temporary Prohibition of Vehicular Traffic) Order 2024 under s14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
The effect of the Order is to prohibit vehicular traffic on Morcombe Close, Harold Preinstall Close, Harmer Close, Troydale Drive, Holyoak Street, Droylsden Road, The Gateway Southbound, Monsall Road and Amos Avenue.
The alternative routes for traffic will be signed locally. The City Council is satisfied that this prohibition is necessary in order to facilitate micro asphalt resurfacing. It is expected that the works will be in progress from 9th October 2024 to 18th November 2024.
The order shall come into operation on 9th October 2024 and may remain in force for a maximum period of eighteen months. If all necessary works are completed within a shorter period, the Order shall cease to have effect at the end of that shorter period.
ORDER NO. MCC000140478985: The City of Manchester (Ellesmere Street, Hulme Ward) (Temporary Suspension of Parking) Order 2024 under s14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
The effect of the Order will be to Suspend the operation of the designated parking place on Ellesmere Street From Burton Place to Approximately 15m West of Bentick Street.
The Council is satisfied that the suspension is necessary in order to facilitate Development Works. It is expected that the work will be in progress between 7th October 2024 and 10th April 2026.
The Order shall come into operation on 7th October 2024 and may remain in force for a maximum period of eighteen months. If all necessary works are completed within a shorter period, the Order shall cease to have effect at the end of that shorter period.
