(Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2024
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Chapel Road, Tiptree in the City of Colchester, from its junction with Church Road to its junction with Berryfield Close a distance of approximately 180m. The closure is scheduled to commence on 14th October 2024 for 3 days, or where stated on a valid permit (EP201EH2355527 - Essex County Council). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while carriageway patching works are undertaken by Essex County Council.
An alternative route is available via Chapel Road, Newbridge Road, Clears Road, Smythes Green, Maldon Road, Colchester Road, Maypole Road, Church Road and vice versa.
The Order came into effect on 26th September 2024 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
(Coach Road, Great Horkesley)
(Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2024
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Coach Road, Great Horkesley in the City of Colchester, from its junction with Woodhouse Lane for a distance of approximately 50m in a north easterly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 14th October 2024 for 1 day, or where stated on a valid permit (BC00814OCTEAVDR979 - Openreach). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while cabling works are undertaken by Openreach.
An alternative route is available via Coach Road, Old House Road, The Causeway, Nayland Road and vice versa.
The Order came into effect on 26th September 2024 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
(Coast Road, West Mersea)
(Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2024
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Coast Road, West Mersea in the City of Colchester, from a point approximately 120m south west of its junction with Church Road for a distance of approximately 30m in a westerly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 14th October 2024 for 5 days, or where stated on a valid permit (EC30070778442 - UK Power Networks). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while new electricity supply works are undertaken by UK Power Networks.
An alternative route is available via Firs Chase, Firs Road, High Street North and vice versa (with access only into Coast Road, High Street).
The Order came into effect on 26th September 2024 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2024
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of D'arcy Road, Colchester in the City of Colchester, from a point approximately 40m south west of its junction with Old Heath Road for a distance of approximately 20m in a south westerly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 15th October 2024 for 2 days, or where stated on a valid permit (AD01310755348/2 - Anglian Water). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while new water supply works are undertaken by Anglian Water.
No alternative route is available (with access only into D'arcy Road).

(Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2024
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Mersea Road, Abberton in the City of Colchester, from a point approximately 85m north east of its junction with Fingringhoe Road for a distance of approximately 30m in a north easterly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 14th October 2024 for 1 night (19:00-00:00), or where stated on a valid permit (EC30086865702 - UK Power Networks). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while overhead cabling works are undertaken by UK Power Networks.

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of New Road, Aldham in the City of Colchester, from a point approximately 555m south west then south of its junction with Ford Street for a distance of approximately 30m in a southerly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 14th October 2024 for 3 days, or where stated on a valid permit (AD01310664989 - Anglian Water). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2024
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Plough Road, Great Bentley in the District of Tendring, from a point approximately 65m south east of the junction with Station Road to the junction with Weeley Road a distance of approximately 920m. The closure is scheduled to commence on 14th October 2024 for 5 days, or where stated on a valid permit (EP201EH2365419 - Essex County Council). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while drainage and ironwork replacement works are undertaken by Essex County Council.
