Notice is hereby given Colchester City Council acting on behalf of the North Essex Parking Partnership in exercise of the delegated powers of the traffic authority Essex County Council granted under an Agreement dated 1st July 2022 proposes to make the above Order under Sections 1(1), 2(1) to (3), 4 (1), 4(2), 32, 35,45,46,49 and 53 and Parts III and IV of schedule 9 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984
The effect of the Order:
1. To partially revoke, Limited Waiting Mon-Sat 8am-6pm 30mins No Return Within 2 hours, to revoke Goods Vehicle Loading Only & Motorcycle Parking Only (alternative MC parking is available in St Johns & St Marys car parks) and reintroduce Limited Waiting Mon-Sat 8am-6pm 30mins No Return Within 2 hours, Goods Vehicle Loading Only & No Waiting & No Loading At Any Time in alternative locations on the north side of Crouch Street, Colchester.
2. To partially revoke No Waiting At Any Time & No Loading Mon-Sat 8am-9.30am &12.30pm-2pm & 4pm-6pm and replace with No Stopping Except Buses on the south side of Crouch Street, Colchester.
3. To partially revoke Goods Vehicle Loading Only Mon-Sat 8am-6pm, revoke No Waiting Except Taxis & No Waiting At Any Time and replace with an extension to bus stands (No Stopping Except Buses) in Osborne Street, Colchester, either side of the junction with Arthur Street, Colchester.
4. To revoke No Waiting & No Loading At Any Time and replace with No Waiting At Any Time except Taxis in Vineyard Gate, Colchester.
This Order will be incorporated into The Essex County Council (Colchester Borough) (Prohibition of Waiting, Loading and Stopping) and (On-Street Parking Places) (Civil Enforcement Area) Consolidation Order 2019 by replacing tile numbers TL990 247 revision 3 replaced by TL990 247 revision 4, TL995 250 revision 4 replaced by TL995 250 revision
5. TL995 247 revision 1 replaced by TL995 247 revision 2.

Description: From a point approximately 498 metres west of its junction with Church Road, west for approximately 252 metres.
‘The Essex County Council (Tendring District) (40mph Speed Limit) (No. 2) Order 2010' is hereby revoked insofar as it relates to those lengths of road in the Parishes of Alresford, and Thorrington.
‘The Essex County Council (Tendring District) (Restricted Roads) (No.4) Order 2008' is hereby revoked insofar as it relates to those lengths of road, in the Parishes of Alresford, Elmstead, and Thorrington. All restrictions shall remain in force by virtue of the new Orders.
TRAF7822 Alresford, and Elmstead Order will come into operation on: 01 November 2024 TRAF7825 Thorrington Order will come into operation on: 11 November 2024

Notice is hereby given that Colchester City Council acting on behalf of the North Essex Parking Partnership in exercise of the delegated powers of the traffic authority Essex County Council granted under an Agreement dated 1 July 2022 Has Made the following order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended.
The Essex County Council (Mascot Square/Triumph Close/Capstan Place, Colchester)
(Temporary Waiting Restriction) Order 2024
Effects of the Order: To introduce waiting restrictions in the areas detailed below. The restrictions are required to facilitate the passage of council waste collection vehicles
1. To introduce No Waiting at Any Time at the junction of Mascot Square and Triumph Close.
2. To introduce No Waiting on Wednesdays from 7.30am to 11.30am on both sides of Mascot Square from its junction with Elmstead road to its junction with Capstan Place. On one side of Mascot Square encircling house numbers 23 to 43. On the Southwest side of Capstan Place. Triumph Close on the Northwest side up to number 3. On the southeast and Southwest kerbs at the fork in Triumph Close.
The Essex County Council (Colchester City) (Prohibition of Waiting, Loading and Stopping) and (On-Street Parking Places) (Civil Enforcement Area) (Consolidation) Order 2019 will be temporarily amended for the duration of the above restrictions by substituting tile numbers TM015 242 revision 1 to revision 2, TM020 242 revision 0 to revision 1
The Order will come into operation on 4th October 2024 and will remain in force for a period of up to 18 months.
(Barrington Road, Colchester) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2024
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Barrington Road, Colchester in the City of Colchester, from its junction with Lisle Road to its junction with Canterbury Road a distance of approximately 60m. The closure is scheduled to commence on 28th October 2024 for 3 days, or where stated on a valid permit (EP201EH2370556 - Essex County Council). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while paving repair works are undertaken by Essex County Council.
An alternative route is available via Lisle Road, Campion Road, Canterbury Road and vice versa. The Order will come into effect on 10th October 2024 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
(Bellfield Avenue, Brightlingsea) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic & Temporary Introduction of a Clearway) Order 2024
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order:
1. To temporarily close that length of Bellfield Avenue, Brightlingsea in the District of Tendring, from its junction with Regent Road for a distance of approximately 190m in a south easterly direction.
2. To temporarily introduce a 'No Waiting, No Loading and No Stopping' in the above length of road for the duration of the closure only.
"The Essex County Council (Tendring District) (Prohibition of Waiting, Loading and Stopping) and (On Street Parking Places) (Civil Enforcement Area) Consolidation Order 2019" will be temporarily amended to include the temporary 'No Waiting, No Loading and No Stopping at Any Time' restriction and suspend any existing parking and waiting restrictions on the above lengths of roads only. All other restrictions and exemptions contained in the aforementioned Order and Amendments to that Order shall remain in force.
The closure/clearway is scheduled to commence on 28th October 2024 for 54 days, or where stated on a valid permit (EP201EH2365231 - Essex County Council). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure/clearway is required for the safety of the public and workforce while carriageway reconstruction works are undertaken by Essex County Council.
An alternative route is available via Bellfield Avenue, Chapel Road, Bell Green, Red Barn Road, Regent Road and vice versa.
The Order will come into effect on 10th October 2024 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
(Church Lane, Colchester) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2024
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Church Lane, Colchester in the City of Colchester, from its junction with Lexden Road for a distance of approximately 325m in a south westerly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 28th October 2024 for 12 days, or where stated on a valid permit (AZ5011001359661 - Cadent). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while gas main replacement works are undertaken by Cadent.
An alternative route is available via Heath Road, Straight Road, London Road, Lexden Road, Church Lane and vice versa (with access only into Church Lane).
The Order will come into effect on 10th October 2024 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
(Colne Road, Brightlingsea) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2024
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Colne Road, Brightlingsea in the District of Tendring, from its junction with Duke Street to its junction with Nelson Street a distance of approximately 65m. The closure is scheduled to commence on 29th October 2024 for 1 day, or where stated on a valid permit (EC30061519084 - UK Power Networks). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while overhead cabling works are undertaken by UK Power Networks.
An alternative route is available via Duke Street, Silcott Street, Nelson Street and vice versa.
The Order will come into effect on 10th October 2024 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
(Constantine Road, Colchester) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic & Temporary Introduction of a Clearway) Order 2024
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order:
1. To temporarily close that length of Constantine Road, Colchester in the City of Colchester, from its junction with Butt Road to its junction with Maldon Road a distance of approximately 290m.
2. To temporarily introduce a 'No Waiting, No Loading and No Stopping' restriction in the above length of road for the duration of the closure only.
"The Essex County Council (Colchester Borough) (Prohibition of Waiting, Loading and Stopping) and (On Street Parking Places) (Civil Enforcement Area) Consolidation Order 2019" will be temporarily amended to include the temporary 'No Waiting, No Loading and No Stopping at Any Time' restriction and suspend any existing parking and waiting restrictions on the above length of road only. Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of School Road, Little Horkesley in the City of Colchester, from a point approximately 80m north east of its junction with School Lane for a distance of approximately 30m in an easterly direction. (Canterbury Road, Colchester) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2024
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Canterbury Road, Colchester in the City of Colchester, from its junction with Barrington Road for a distance of approximately 50m in a south westerly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 20th October 2024 for 1 day, or where stated on a valid permit (BC008WFLTJD9MSB - Openreach).
