Valley Road, Temporary Road Closure Due To Water Works

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 SECTION 14 CITY OF BRADFORD METROPOLITAN DISTRICT COUNCIL VALLEY ROAD, BRADFORD TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC ORDER

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that City of Bradford Metropolitan District Council by reason of water works proposed to be executed on or near Valley Road, Bradford intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall proceed in the length of Valley Road approximately 200 metres from its junction with Inkersley Road for approximately 50 metres in a northerly direction.

PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works proposed to be carried out on the said length of road.

Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.

Alternative routes for vehicular traffic affected by the proposed Order will be available via Valley Road (unaffected section), Canal Road, Station Road, Queens Road and vice versa.

The proposed Order will come into effect at 08:00 hours on the 13th October 2024 and remain in force until 18:00 hours on the 13th October 2024 (although the closure can remain in force for up to eighteen months if necessary).
