Fox's Lane, Wolverhampton - Tempoary Road Closure

THE WOLVERHAMPTON CITY COUNCIL (FOX’S LANE) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2024 

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Wolverhampton City Council propose to make an Order under Section 14(1)(a) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as substituted by the Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991, prohibiting vehicles from proceeding on Fox's Lane in both directions at the railway bridges. The Order may operate for a maximum period of eighteen months, but it is anticipated that the works will be undertaken on 15 October 2024 between the hours of 07:00 and 15:00. The diversion route is: Stafford Road, Cannock Road, Cross Street North, Crown Street and vice versa. The Order is required to facilitate a structural examination of a retaining wall by Network Rail.
