THE M5 MOTORWAY (JUNCTION 12)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2024
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that National Highways Limited (a) intends to make an Order on the M5 Motorway in the County of Gloucestershire so surveys and associated maintenance works can be carried out in safety.
The works are expected to take place over four nights (21.00 to 06.00) starting on or after 21 October 2024.
The effect of the Order would be to authorise the closure of the northbound and southbound entry and exit slip roads at M5 Junction 12.
During the closures traffic would be diverted via junctions of the M5 and local roads.
The closures (which would not apply to emergency services and works vehicles), and diversion routes would be clearly indicated by traffic signs throughout the works period and would only apply when traffic management measures are in place.
The Order would come into force on 19 October 2024 and have a maximum duration of eighteen months.
