Stoke Prior, Temporary Road Closure Due To New Service Connection Works

NOTICE is hereby given that Herefordshire Council, as highway authority, have, under its relevant powers, made the following Order: C1110 From Stoke Prior Village To Risbury Mill, Stoke Prior, Temporary Road Closure Order, to temporarily prohibit the use by vehicles on the C1110 From Stoke Prior Village To Risbury Mill, Stoke Prior, near Witsetts Barn. Grid Ref: 353301/255474.

The alternative route for those affected by the proposal is via the C1110 onto the C1112. onto the A49, onto theA417, onto Bowley Lane and vice versa.

The said closure is required due to new service connection works and the likelihood of danger to the public while the works are taking place. The said closure will come into force on 14th of October 2024 and remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months (unless extended with the consent of the Secretary of State) but the works are expected to be completed within 1 day.
