ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 – SECTION 14(1)
(St Michaels Lane, Headingley, Leeds) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2024
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the under mentioned highways (Road closure for gas mains replacement) Leeds City Council has made an Order the effect of which will be that: No person shall cause or permit any vehicle to travel along St Michaels Lane, Headingley, Leeds in the Kirkstall Ward between its junctions with Burley Road and Stanmore Grove. A diversionary route for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via: Burley Road, Talbot View, Stanmore Grove and vice versa. Essential access to premises and for emergency vehicles will be maintained. The Order is intended to come into operation on Monday 14th October 2024 and will remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works are completed if earlier. (Wade Lane, Leeds) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2024
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that because works are being to be executed on or near the under mentioned highways (removal of advertising unit from bus shelter) Leeds City Council has today made an Order the effect of which will be that:
No person shall cause or permit any vehicle to use the disabled parking bays
outside 47-51 Wade Lane, Leeds in the Little London Woodhouse ward.
Essential access to premises and for emergency vehicles will be maintained.
The Order is intended to come into operation on 10th October 2024 and will
remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works are
completed if earlier. The works are expected to be completed by 11th October 2024. The closure will be in place between 23:30 and 05:00 hrs overnight. A Coultate. Ref: RC310637

(Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2024
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that because works are being or are proposed to
be executed on or near the under mentioned highway(s) for works for
gas replacement Leeds City Council intends in not less than 7 days to make
an Order the effect of which will be that: No person shall cause or permit any
vehicle to travel along Mexborough Street, Chapeltown, Leeds in the Chapel
Allerton Ward from its junction with Savile Drive to outside 84 Mexborough
Street. A diversionary route for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via: Savile Drive, Mexborough Place and vice-versa. Essential access to and from premises and for emergency vehicles will be maintained. The Order is intended to come into operation on Monday 28th October 2024 and will remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works are completed if earlier. (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2024
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the under mentioned highway(s) for Road closure for gas replacement Leeds City Council has made an Order the effect of which will be that: No person shall cause or permit any vehicle to travel along Cardigan Lane, Burley (Phase 1), Leeds in the Kirkstall Ward between its junctions with Back Greenhow Walk and Kirkstall Road. A diversionary route for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via: Kirkstall Road, Greenhow Road, Greenhow Walk Essential access to and from premises and for emergency vehicles will be maintained. The Order is intended to come into operation on Monday 7th October 2024 and will remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works are completed if earlier. The works are expected to be completed by Friday 25th October 2024. The closure will be in place between 00:00 and 23:59 hrs

(Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2024
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the under mentioned highways (Road closure for gas mains replacement) Leeds City Council has today made an Order the effect of which will be that: No person shall cause or permit any vehicle to travel along Sayner Lane, Hunslet, Leeds in the Hunslet & Riverside Ward between its junctions with Clarence Road and Outside Allied Glass. A diversionary route for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via: Sayner Lane, Sayner Road, Carlisle Road, Clarence Road and vice versa Essential access to premises and for emergency vehicles will be maintained. The Order is intended to come into operation on Wednesday 2nd October 2024 and will remain in force for
a maximum period of 18 months or until the works are completed if earlier.
The works are expected to be completed by Wednesday 23rd October 2024.

(Temporary Waiting Restrictions Point Closure and Permit Parking)
Order 2024 Vernon Street, Leeds
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that because of the likelihood of danger to the public due to development works, Leeds City Council has today made an Order, the effect of which is to introduce: 1. No Waiting, Loading or Unloading at any time on sections of Vernon Street, Leeds. 2. A Point Closure on Vernon Street, Leeds:
at a point 16m west of the junction with Woodhouse Lane. 3. Permit Parking
Bays on Vernon Street, for a distance of 10m along the southern carriageway
edge, at a point 55m west of the junction with Woodhouse Lane. The Order shall come into operation on Thursday 3 October 2024 and to remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months.

(Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2024
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the under mentioned highway(s) for Renewing bridge joints for the M1 overbridge Leeds City Council intends in not less than 7 days to make an Order the effect of which will be that: No person shall cause or permit any vehicle to travel along Sharp Lane, Robin Hood, Leeds in the Middleton Park Ward, Ardsley & Robin Hood Ward between its junctions with Sharp House Road and Leeds Road. A diversionary route for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via: Leeds Road, Thorpe Lower Lane, Middleton Lane, Towcester Avenue, St Georges Road, Ring Road Middleton, Sharp Lane, Belle Isle Road, Throstle Road North and vice-versa. Essential access to and from premises and for emergency vehicles will be maintained. The Order is intended to come into operation on Monday 14th October 2024 and will remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works are completed if earlier. (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2024
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that because works are being or are proposed to
be executed on or near the under mentioned highway(s) for Utility repair and
maintenance works Leeds City Council intends in not less than 7 days to make
an Order the effect of which will be that: No person shall cause or permit any
vehicle to travel along St Mark’s Street, Woodhouse, Leeds in the Little London and Woodhouse Ward between its junctions with Woodhouse Lane and St Mark’s Road. A diversion route will be signposted in the local vicinity. Essential access to and from premises and for emergency vehicles will be maintained. The Order is intended to come into operation on Monday 21st October 2024 and will remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works are completed if earlier. The works are expected to be completed by Friday 8th November 2024.

(Footpath Between Redesdale Gardens and The Crescent, Adel)

(Temporary Closure) Order 2024.
The Council of the City of Leeds intends in no less than seven days to make the following Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984: the  LEEDS CITY COUNCIL (FOOTPATH BETWEEN REDESDALE GARDENS AND THE CRESCENT, ADEL) (TEMPORARY CLOSURE) ORDER 2024. The Order will close to pedestrians the full length of the footpath that extends between its junctions with Redesdale Gardens and The Crescent.The diversion route for pedestrians will be via Rothbury Gardens, New Adel Lane, Otley Road, The Crescent and vice versa.The closure is necessary to enable drainage works to be undertaken on or near the footpath.The closure provided by this Order is anticipated to be in effect between 9am on 14 October 2024 and 9am on 15 October 2024, or between such times and until such day as the works to which this Order relates are complete (which in any event will be no later than 14 April 2025). (Footpath Between Bath Road and Bridge Road)
(Temporary Closure) Order 2024.
The Council of the City of Leeds intends in no less than seven days to make
the following Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984:
the LEEDS CITY COUNCIL (FOOTPATH BETWEEN BATH ROAD AND BRIDGE ROAD) (TEMPORARY CLOSURE) ORDER 2024. The Order will close to pedestrians the full length of the footpath that extends between its junctions with Bath Road and Bridge Road. The diversion route for pedestrians will be via Bath Road and Sweet Street West and vice-versa. The closure is necessary to enable works to be undertaken on or near the footpath in connection with a bridge inspection.
The Order is due to come into operation on 14 October 2024 for a one day
closure (anticipated to be between 8am and 4pm), or between such times and
until such day as the works to which this Order relates are complete (which in
any event will be no later than 14 April 2025). Copies of the proposed Order

(Definitive Footpath Leeds No.82) (Temporary Footpath Closure) Order
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the City of Leeds has made the
following Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984: the
LEEDS CITY COUNCIL (DEFINITIVE FOOTPATH LEEDS No.82) (TEMPORARY FOOTPATH CLOSURE) ORDER 2024. The Order closes to pedestrians the length of Definitive Footpath Leeds No. 82 between its junctions with Brookfield Road and Grove Lane. The diversion route is via Back Oakfield Terrace, Brookfield Road, Monk Bridge Road, Grove Road, Grove Lane and vice-versa. The Order is necessary to enable works to be undertaken on or near the footpath in connection with the replacement of gas mains. The Order came into operation on 1 October 2024 (to continue the closure provided by a section 14(2) Notice).
It is anticipated that the works will be completed by 18 October 2024, at which time the Order will cease to have effect. The Order may however continue in effect, such as may be required by the progress of the work, to 26 March 2025.

(Speed Limit) (No.10) Order 2024 Leeds City Council has made the above Order under its powers contained in the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. The effect of the Order which will come into operation on the 29th August 2024 is to introduce: 1. 20 MPH Speed Limit on:
the entire lengths of the following roads unless otherwise stated. Audby Court, Audby Lane, Barrow Way, Boston Road – From its junction with High Street to a point 10 metres south of its junction with Micklethwaite Grove. Bridle Way, Canterbury Close, Colchester Road, Devonshire Drive, Durham Close, Ezart Avenue, Grange Avenue, Greenacres Court, Hallfield Lane – From its junction with Walton Road in a north easterly direction for a distance of 153 metres. High Street, Ingbarrow Gate, Leconfield Drive. Linton Road – From its junction with A661 to its junction with Sicklinghall Road. Linton Lane – From its junction with Linton Road to a point 10 metres south of its junction with Linton Hills Road. Lodge Lane – From its junction with A661 High Street in a westerly direction for a distance of 235 metres. Ludlow Croft, Micklethwaite Grove, Micklethwaite Mews, Micklethwaite View, Montagu Crescent, Noble Crescent, Northfields, Pentagon Way, Richmond Drive, Rochester Row, Rudgate Green, Rudgate Mews, Rudgate Park, Sandbeck Way – From its junction with Audby Lane in a easterly direction for a distance of 160 metres. Sicklinghall Road –
From its junction with Linton Road in a South westerly direction for a distance
of 187 metres. Templars Croft, The Beaches. Walton Road – From its junction
with Privas Way to its junction with Hallfield Lane. Wentworth Street, Windsor
Lane and Woodland Close. 2.30 MPH Speed Limit on: Linton Lane – From a
point 10 metres south of its junction with Linton Hills Road in a southerly
direction for 836 metres. If you wish to object or question the validity of an Order or any provision contained within it on the ground that it is not within the powers of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, or on the grounds that any requirements of the Act or any instrument made under the Act has not be complied with in relation to the Order, you may within 6 weeks from the date of making, apply to the High Court for this purpose.

Leeds City Council made the above Order under its powers contained in the
Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 the effect of which will be to introduce:- 20mph Speed Limit on: the entire lengths of Ada Glassby Court, Alice Smart Close, Amelia Stewart Lane, Ashbourne Avenue, Ashbourne Court, Barrington Gardens, Barrington Grove, Barrington Way, Blackthorn Avenue, Bond Street, Bramham Gardens, Brodsworth Close, Cusworth Garth, Edith Sykes Drive, Elsie Bruce Grove, Ethel Jackson Road, Euston Road, Fleet Street, Green Park Access Road, Hardwick Way ,Harewood Croft, Hawthorn Farm Road, Honeysuckle Drive, Jennie Blackamore Way, Juniper Court, Leicester Square, Maggie Barker Avenue, Mayfair Mount, Olive Yeates Way, Park Lane, Red Kite Row and Woodland Chase.
