Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council intends to make the above Order in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to temporarily prohibit the use by traffic of the undermentioned length of road in Pendeen. This prohibition is necessary for installion of build outs and it is expected that the closure will be from 28th October 2024 to 1st November 2024. The prohibition will be in force 24 hours a day, weekdays only.

Road affected - B3306 Between St Johns Terrace And Geevor Mine, Pendeen between property known as Steam Pottery and the junction of Boscaswell Road.

Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council intends to make the above Order in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to temporarily prohibit the use by traffic of the undermentioned length of road in Penzance. This prohibition is necessary for works to repair defective reinstatement and it is expected that the closure will be from 30th October 2024 to 1st November 2024. The prohibition will be in force 24 hours a day, weekdays only.

Road affected - Bread Street, Penzance from outside No 13 to outside No 16.

This prohibition is necessary for demolition works to the PZ Gallery and it is expected that the closure will be from 28th October 2024 to 22nd November 2024.

The prohibition will be in force 24 hours a day, weekends included.

This prohibition is necessary for water connection works and it is expected that the closure will be from 14th October 2024 to 18th October 2024. The prohibition will be in force 24 hours a day, weekends included.

This prohibition is necessary for gas mains works and it is expected that the closure will be from 28th October 2024 to 20th December 2024. The prohibition will be in force 24 hours a day, weekends included.

This prohibition is necessary for cabling and desilting works and it is expected that the closure will be from 15th October 2024 for one day. The prohibition will be in force between the hours of 0930 and 1530, weekdays only.

Temporary Speed Restriction Order 2024

Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council has made the above Order dated 30th September 2024 in exercise of its powers under section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to impose a temporary speed restriction of 40 MPH over an area of highway being Upton Towans, Hayle between grid reference SW58201 40390 and SW58239 40317 for approximately 81 metres and 30 MPH over an area of highway being Upton Towans, Hayle between grid reference SW58239 40317 and SW58276 40166 for approximately 161 metres. The Council is satisfied that the Order is needed because works are being executed on or near the road to carry out cabling works.

The Order will come into operation on 17th October 2024 and the works are expected to be completed by the 17th October 2024. The restriction will be in force between the hours of 0930 and 1530 on a daily basis, weekdays only.
