NOTICE OF TEMPORARY TRAFFIC REGULATION ORDERS 2024

Notice is hereby given that North Somerset Council in pursuance of the provisions of section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, intend to make an order the effect of which:

Havyatt Road and Nates Lane, Wrington, North Somerset

Temporary Prohibition of Use by Vehicles and Cyclists

Date coming into force: 21 October 2024 - Ref: T24-39

Will be to close, temporarily, to vehicles and cyclists the lengths of roads specified in the Schedule to this Notice.

This order is required because of carriageway patching and associated civils and highway drainage maintenance works and will become operative on 21 October 2024 and anticipated to be of 30 working days for 24 hours a day. The road will be open on the weekends. The maximum period for the closures is 18 months, however, the closures may not be implemented for the whole of the period but only as necessitated by the works.

Schedule - Havyatt Road, Wrington entire extents. Nates Lane, Wrington entire extents.

Alternative routes - Cox's Green, Silver Street, Broad Street, Station Road, Butts Batch, Half Yard, Blackmoor, Langford Road, Bypass, Red Hill and vice-versa.

Mill Lane, Wrington, North Somerset

Temporary Prohibition of Use by Vehicles and Cyclists

Date coming into force: 25 November 2024 - Ref: T24-40

Will be to close, temporarily, to vehicles and cyclists the lengths of roads specified in the Schedule to this Notice.

This order is required because of carriageway patching and associated civils and highway drainage maintenance works and will become operative on 25 November 2024 and anticipated to be of 8 working days for 24 hours a day. The road will be open on the weekends. The maximum period for the closures is 18 months, however, the closures may not be implemented for the whole of the period but only as necessitated by the works.

Alternative routes - Cox's Green, Havyatt Road and vice-versa.

FINAL NOTICE OF TEMPORARY TRAFFIC REGULATION ORDERS 2024

Notice is hereby given that North Somerset Council in pursuance of the provisions of section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, have made an order the effect of which:

High Street, Claverham, North Somerset

Temporary Prohibition of Use by Vehicles Order 2024

Date coming into force: 16 October 2024 - Ref: SW24.25-186

Will be to close, temporarily, to vehicles the lengths of roads specified in the Schedule to this Notice. Exemptions are included for emergency services, works access, works vehicles and as works permit for premises which may only be accessed via the closed section of road.

This order was required because of the likelihood of danger to the public consequent upon work by Openreach for a pole replacement. This will become operative on the 16 October 2024 for a maximum period of 18 months. However, the closures may not be implemented for the whole of the period but only as necessitated by the works which is anticipated to be of 6 hours in duration. Appropriate traffic signs will be displayed when the measures are in force. Schedule - High Street o/s 17 High Street, Claverham BS49 4NB.

Temporary Prohibition of Use by Vehicles Order 2024

Date coming into force: 10 October 2024 - Ref: SW24.25-177

Will be to close, temporarily, to vehicles the lengths of roads specified in the Schedule to this Notice. Exemptions are included for emergency services, works access, works vehicles and as works permit for premises which may only be accessed via the closed section of road.

This order was required because of the likelihood of danger to the public consequent upon work by Openreach to replace pole. This will become operative on the 10 October 2024 for a maximum period of 18 months. However, the closures may not be implemented for the whole of the period but only as necessitated by the works which is anticipated to be of 1 day in duration between 9.30am and 3.30pm. Appropriate traffic signs will be displayed when the measures are in force.

Temporary Prohibition of Use by Vehicles Order 2024

Date coming into force: 14 October 2024 - Ref: SW24.25-170

Will be to close, temporarily, to vehicles the lengths of roads specified in the Schedule to this Notice. Exemptions are included for emergency services, works access, works vehicles and as works permit for premises which may only be accessed via the closed section of road.

This order was required because of the likelihood of danger to the public consequent upon work by Wales & West Utilities to lay a new service. This will become operative on the 14 October 2024 for a maximum period of eighteen months. However, the closures may not be implemented for the whole of the period but only as necessitated by the works which is anticipated to be of 4 days in duration. Appropriate traffic signs will be displayed when the measures are in force.

Will be to close, temporarily, to vehicles the lengths of roads specified in the Schedule to this Notice. Exemptions are included for emergency services, works access, works vehicles and as works permit for premises which may only be accessed via the closed section of road.

This order was required because of the likelihood of danger to the public consequent upon work by Openreach to replace a pole. This will become operative on the 9 October 2024 for a maximum period of 18 months. However, the closures may not be implemented for the whole of the period but only as necessitated by the works which is anticipated to be of 1 day in duration between 8.30am and 3.30pm. Appropriate traffic signs will be displayed when the measures are in force.
