Thrunscoe Road - Temporary Prohibiton Of Traffic For Concrete Repairs To Take Place Safely

What is happening?

THE NORTH EAST LINCOLNSHIRE BOROUGH COUNCIL
ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 - SECTION 14(1)(a)
THRUNSCOE ROAD, CLEETHORPES (TEMPORARY PROHIBITON OF TRAFFIC - TTRO (24-105) ORDER 2024

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the North East Lincolnshire Borough Council have made, an Order, the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any motor vehicle, pedestrian or cycle from PROCEEDING along the below sections of highway:
THRUNSCOE ROAD - Part length from the roundabout junction of A1098 QUEENS PARADE heading in a north westerly direction to the junction of NICOLSON STREET, for a distance of 100 metres.

Alternative route: A1098 Queens Parade, A1098 Kingsway, A1098 High Cliff Road, A1098 Alexandra Road, A1098 High Street, B1374 St Peters Avenue, Highgate (reverse route applies).

This temporary prohibition is required because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the road by NELC. These works are to allow concrete repairs to take place safely.

The Order will come into operation on Monday 14 October 2024, and will continue in force for a period not exceeding 6 months unless extended for a further period by the Secretary of State for Transport, or until completion of the works (whichever is the earlier). The closure is expected to remain in place until Wednesday, 23 October 2024.
Definitive dates and times will be notified by on-site advanced warning signs.
