The Croft And Hillcrest Drive - Temporary Prohibition Of Through Traffic For Carriageway Patching Works

What is happening?

THE EAST RIDING OF YORKSHIRE COUNCIL
(THE CROFT AND HILLCREST DRIVE (PART), MOLESCROFT) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC) ORDER 2024

East Riding of Yorkshire Council has made an Order the effect of which is to prohibit any person from causing any vehicle to proceed along part of The Croft between St Leonards junction outside number 1 to the start of Hillcrest Drive outside number 2 and part of Hillcrest Drive, Molescroft from the end of The Croft outside number 2 to the junction of St Leonards Road.
The reason for the closure is to enable the proposed carriageway patching works, to be carried out and completed in a manner consistent with ensuring the safety of the public.
It is anticipated that the works will be completed by 11 October 2024. The alternative route for traffc affected by the Order is via St Leonards Road, Molescroft.
The road will be open at all times to pedestrians and for vehicular access to properties directly affected by the closure and for emergency services.
The Order will commence 8 October 2024 and continue in force for a period not exceeding eighteen months or until the works which it is proposed to carry out have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
