Parish of Rode Temporary Closure of Frome Road
Somerset Council in exercise of its powers under Section 14 (1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended, propose to make an Order prohibiting all traffic from proceeding along Frome Road - from the junction with A36 J A361 north of Beckington Roundabout, north eastwards for a total distance of 118 metres. This Order will enable Taylor Plant Ltd to carry out works to enable the planning of and resurfacing of approximately 30m2 of public road and 100m2 of a private hammer head. Road to be closed 19.00 – 06.00 only.
The Order becomes effective on 17th October 2024 and will remain in force for eighteen months. The works are expected to commence on 24th October 2024 and last until 25th October 2024 between the hours of 19:00 - 06:00 for a total of 11 hours.
