(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC) ORDER 2024
East Riding of Yorkshire Council has made an Order the effect of which is to prohibit any person from causing any vehicle to proceed along part of Pasture Road, Goole between its junctions with Boothferry Road and Centenary Road between the hours of 18.00 until 23.00 Monday to Friday.
The reason for the closure is to enable the proposed footway and carriage maintenance works, to be carried out and completed in a manner consistent with ensuring the safety of the public.
It is anticipated that the works will be completed by 25 October 2024. The alternative route for traffic affected by the Order is via Boothferry Road, Weatherill Street and Centenary Road.
The road will be open at all times to pedestrians and for vehicular access to properties directly affected by the closure and for emergency services.
The Order will commence 8 October 2024 and continue in force for a period not exceeding eighteen months or until the works which it is proposed to carry out have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
