Hall Street & Marshall Street - Temporary Road Closure
What is happening?
DERBYSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL
TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE
HALL STREET & MARSHALL STREET, ALFRETON
WHEN: For one Sunday between 06 October to 20 October 2024 (06:00 to 18:00).
WHERE: Hall Street, Alfreton between the goods entrance for Tesco Supermarket to the entrance of Severn Squares car park.
Marshall Street between its Jct. with Hall Street and its Jct. with Grange Road.
REASON: To facilitate the carriageway resurfacing of Hall Street.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE:
1: Hall Street, Cressy Road, High Street, King Street and vice versa.
2: Grange Street, Alma Street, Nottingham Road and vice versa
Access will be maintained, whenever reasonably possible, on the affected length of road. The road will re-open as soon as the work is finished. This may be earlier than advertised.
Derbyshire County Council apologises for any inconvenience caused while work takes place. Anyone needing further information should ring Call Derbyshire on 01629 533190. The County Council has made an Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to prohibit its use by traffic.
