What is happening?
PUBLIC NOTICES
The STIRLING COUNCIL made The Stirling Council (Pirnhall Road, Bannockburn) (Stopping-Up and Removal from List of Public Roads) Order 2024 under the Roads (Scotland) Act 1984 on 27-9-24.
The Order will stop up the following road and remove it from the List of Public Roads:
Pirnhall Road From its junction with the A91 in a north-westerly direction for a distance of 42.4 metres or thereby.
A COPY of the Order can be provided by e-mailing traffic@stirling.gov.uk.
Anyone wishing to question the validity of this Order, should write to the Court of Session within six weeks of 27-9-24.
ROADS (SCOTLAND) ACT 1984
SPEED TABLES DOUNE ROAD AND OLD DOUNE ROAD, DUNBLANE
The STIRLING COUNCIL, under Section 36 of the Roads (Scotland) Act 1984, propose to construct speed tables as detailed in the Schedule hereto with a view to improving road safety by slowing traffic speeds and providing zebra crossings at Doune Road and Old Doune Road, Dunblane. A COPY of the plan showing the locations affected by the proposal can be requested by e-mailing traffic@stirling.gov.uk.
Objectors must state their reasons in writing to the Head of Environment and Place, by e-mailing traffic@stirling.gov.uk by 30 October 2024 and quoting reference number TM/6 - RH/2024(1).
SCHEDULE
Road in Dunblane - Table Type - Location
Doune Road 1 no. raised table crossing comprising a flat top road hump 7.4 metres in length with 1.5 metre long ramps either side which lifts the table 75mm above road level. The plateau and ramps will be surfaced with asphalt and approach ramps laid with white retro-reflective teeth. The table will accommodate a 2.4m wide zebra crossing. 112 metres or thereby west of its junction with Kilbryde Crescent.
Old Doune Road 1 no. raised table crossing comprising a flat top road hump 7.4 metres in length with 1.5 metre long ramps either side which lifts the table 75mm above road level. The plateau and ramps will be surfaced with asphalt and approach ramps laid with white retro-reflective teeth. The table will accommodate a 2.4m wide zebra crossing. 15 metres or thereby east of its junction with Albert Street.
The COUNCIL made The Stirling Council (B8033, Kinbuck) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2024 under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) on 27-9-24.
This Order will close:
B8033 From its junction with Auchinlay Road to the Stirling Council / Perth and Kinross Council boundary from 1000 hours until 1130 hours on 30-10-24 to facilitate Public utility works. Emergency service access will be maintained

The COUNCIL made The Stirling Council (Burnside Crescent, Plean) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic and Suspension of Parking - No 2) Order 2024 under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) on 27-9-24.
This Order will close and suspend the parking on:
Burnside Crescent From its northerly junction with Main Street to its junction with Wallace Crescent, and; Burnside Crescent From its junction with Wallace Crescent to its southerly junction with Main Street from 0800 hours until 1800 hours from 21-10-24 until 28- 10-24 to facilitate carriageway surfacing works.
Emergency service access will be maintained
Alternative Routes: via Main Street and vice versa

The COUNCIL made The Stirling Council (St Anne’s Crescent, Bannockburn) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2024 under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) on 27-9-24.
This Order will close:
St Anne’s Crescent For its entire length from 0800 hours until 1800 hours from 21-10-24 until 26-10-24 to facilitate Public utility works.
Emergency service access will be maintained

The COUNCIL made The Stirling Council (King Street, Stirling) (Temporary Suspension of Parking) Order 2024 under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) on 27-9-24.
This Order will suspend the parking on:
King Street On the west side thereof from a point adjacent to No 47 to a point adjacent to No 51 King Street from 25-10-24 to 28-10-24 to facilitate a Halloween display.

The COUNCIL made The Stirling Council (Pirnhall Road, Stirling) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic and Suspension of Parking - Extension - No 2) Order 2024 under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) on 27-9-24.
This Order will close:
Pirnhall Road From its junction with the A872 to its junction with the A91.
This Order will also suspend the parking:
Pirnhall Road From a point 35 metres north-west of its junction with the A91 in a north-westerly direction for a distance of 225 metres or thereby from 3-10-24 until 8-11-24 to facilitate public utility works.
Emergency service access will be maintained
