Temporary Road Closure Of 405180 Parragate Road
(Cinderford Town) Forest Of Dean District
Gloucestershire County Council, as traffic authority, intends to make an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to temporarily close part of the 405180 Parragate Road adjacent to the property known as ‘No. 7’ for a distance of approximately 25 metres.
The reason for the said closure is for new water connection works.
The said road is expected to be closed from 21st October 2024 until 23rd October 2024 only or until the works have been completed. For further information, please contact Gloucestershire Highways on 08000 514 514 or visit www.gloucestershire.gov.uk.

Temporary Closure Of Part Of Restricted Byway Fsb13 & Public Footpath Fsb10
(St Briavels Parish) Forest Of Dean District
NOTICE is hereby given that the Secretary of State for Transport has extended the Order to close temporarily under Sections 14, 15 and 16 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act, 1984
(as amended) part of Restricted Byway FSB13 & Public Footpath FSB10 as referred to in the Schedule below.
Schedule
Restricted Byway FSB13 from its junction with Wyegate Lane at extending in a generally southerly direction for approximately 900 metres to its junction with Stow Road.
Public Footpath FSB10, from its junction with FSB 8 extending in a generally easterly and northerly direction for approximately 790 metres to its junction with Restricted Byway FSB13 The said Public Footpath and Restricted Byway both fall within the Parish of St Briavels in the
Forest of Dean District within the County of Gloucestershire.
The closure is necessary to safeguard the health and safety of the public due to a landslide and flood damage to the said Public Footpath FSB10 and Restricted Byway FSB13.
The Public Footpath and Restricted Byway were originally closed for 21 days by Emergency Notice dated 20th May 2024 and an Order was subsequently made which commenced 11th June 2024. As works are still ongoing, the Secretary of State has now granted an
extension of the Order until 20th May 2026 or until the completion of the works, whichever is the earlier. For further information please contact Public Rights of Way on 08000 514514 or visit www.gloucestershire.gov.uk
Alternative Routes – As indicated on the Order Plan by a dash black line marked A to B. Emergency and Pedestrian access to adjoining premises is to be maintained.
