What is happening?
(TEMPORARY CLOSING OF THE FOOTPATH SITUATED ON THE NORTH EAST SIDE OF NO.28 CAISHOWE ROAD, BOREHAMWOOD) ORDER 2024
NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all pedestrians from using the footpath situated on the north east side of No.28 Caishowe Road, Borehamwood from its junction with Caishowe Road south eastwards and north eastwards to its junction with Bracken Close, a distance of approximately 101m ("the Footpath").
There is no alternative route available for pedestrians when the works are being carried out. However pedestrian access to properties along this footpath will be maintained whenever possible throughout the duration of the works.
The Order is needed because the demolition of existing garages and the construction of new houses is proposed to be executed near the Footpath.
If the Order is made, it shall come into force on 30 September 2024 for a period of up to 6 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Footpath.

(TEMPORARY CLOSING OF BRETT PLACE, WATFORD) ORDER NO.2 2024
NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of Brett Place, Watford from its southernmost junction with The Harebreaks south westwards and north westwards for a distance of approximately 120m ("the Road"), except for access. An alternative route will be via The Harebreaks and Brett Place.
The Order is needed because the replacement of an existing gas main is proposed to be executed on or near the Road.
If the Order is made, it shall come into force on 14 October 2024 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Road.

NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of Otterspool Way, Watford from a point 120m north westwards of its junction with Park Avenue north eastwards to its junction with A41 North Western Avenue, a distance of approximately 30m ("the Road").
An alternative route will be via Otterspool Way, Park Avenue, B462 Hartspring Lane and A41 North Western Avenue or via A41 North Western Avenue, the A4008 Stephenson Way roundabout, A41 North Western Avenue, B462 Hartspring Lane, Park Avenue and Otterspool Way. ADDITIONALLY all vehicles are prohibited from waiting at any time on both sides of this length of Road whilst works are in progress.
The Order is needed because duct installation works are proposed to be executed on or near the Road.
If the Order is made, it shall come into force on 17 October 2024 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Road.

(TEMPORARY TRAFFIC MANAGEMENT MEASURES ON SYDNEY ROAD, WATFORD) ORDER 2024
NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of Sydney Road, Watford from a point in line with the eastern boundary of No.26 Sydney Road north westwards for a distance of approximately 17m ("the Road").
An alternative route will be via Sydney Road, Hagden Lane, Whippendell Lane and Sydney Road. ADDITIONALLY the existing one way system on that length of Sydney Road, Watford from a point 10m south of its junction with Whippendell Road southwards for a distance of approximately 10m will be temporarily suspended to enable all vehicles to travel in both directions within this length of road, whilst works are in progress.
The Order is needed because water service connection works are proposed to be executed on or near the Road.
If the Order is made, it shall come into force on 14 October 2024 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Road.

NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of A411 Barnet Lane, Elstree from its junction with Fortune Lane south eastwards for a distance of approximately 40m ("the Road").
An alternative route will be via A5183 (High Street/Elstree Hill South), A5 Brockley Hill, A410 Spur Road, A41 Edgware Way (Watford Bypass), A1 Barnet Way (Barnet Bypass) and A411 Barnet Lane. The Order is needed because gas service connection works are proposed to be executed on or near the Road.

NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using the following lengths of roads ("the Roads"), except for access and to prohibit all vehicles from waiting at any time on both sides of these lengths of Roads whilst works are in progress:-
1. that length of Bullhead Road, Borehamwood from its junction with Thornbury Gardens north westwards to its junction with Kenilworth Drive, a distance of approximately 455m.
An alternative route will be via Thornbury Gardens and Kenilworth Drive.
2. that length of Knebworth Path, Borehamwood from its junction with Nicoll Way north westwards and south westwards for its entire length.
There is no alternative route available for vehicles when the works are being carried out. However vehicular access to properties in this road will be maintained whenever possible throughout the duration of the works.
3. that length of Monksmead, Borehamwood from its junction with Arundel Drive north westwards for its entire length.

5. that length of Mead Way, Bushey from its junction with Bushey Mill Lane south westwards to its junction with Park Avenue, a distance of approximately 1460m.
An alternative route will be via Bushey Mill Lane, Mill Way and Park Avenue.
6. that length of Spring Close, Borehamwood from its junction with Brook Road north eastwards, north westwards and south eastwards for its entire length.
There is no alternative route available for vehicles when the works are being carried out. However vehicular access to properties in this road will be maintained whenever possible throughout the duration of the works.
7. that length of Ivinghoe Road, Bushey from its junction with Chiltern Avenue southwards to its junction with Coombe Road, a distance of approximately 105m.
An alternative route will be via Chiltern Avenue, Little Bushey Lane, Richfield Road, Garratts Road and Coombe Road.
8. that length of Richfield Road, Bushey from its junction with Little Bushey Lane south westwards, south eastwards and north eastwards for its entire length.
There is no alternative route available for vehicles when the works are being carried out. However vehicular access to properties in this road will be maintained whenever possible throughout the duration of the works.
9. that length of Langholme, Bushey from its junction with A411 Sparrows Herne south westwards, north westwards and south eastwards for its entire length.
There is no alternative route available for vehicles when the works are being carried out. However vehicular access to properties in this road will be maintained whenever possible throughout the duration of the works.
10. the road leading to Nos.9-11 Giant Tree Hill, Bushey Heath from its junction with Giant Tree Hill south westwards for its entire length.

11. the road fronting Nos.19-31 Lexington Close, Borehamwood from its junction with Lexington Close north westwards and south westwards for a distance of approximately 71m.

12. that length of Little Potters, Bushey from its northernmost junction with Woodfield Rise south eastwards, south westwards and north westwards for its entire length.

of the Road whilst works are in progress.

NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect on the following lengths of road ("the lengths of Road") will be:-
1. To prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of Rosslyn Road, Watford from its junction with A412 Rickmansworth Road south eastwards to its junction with Halsey Road, a distance of approximately 59m, except for access.
An alternative route will be via A412 Rickmansworth Road, A4178 Cassio Road, Upton Road and Rosslyn Road.
2. To temporarily suspend the existing one way traffic system on Rosslyn Road, Watford from its junction with A412 Rickmansworth Road south eastwards to its junction with Upton Road, a distance of approximately 277m to enable all vehicles to travel in both directions within this length of road, whilst works are in progress.
The Order is needed because utility service works are proposed to be executed on or near the Roads. The Order has been made and shall come into force on 1 October 2024 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the lengths of Road.

The Order is needed because the renewal of an existing gas main is proposed to be executed on or near the Road.
