(Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2024

Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council intends to make the above Order in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to temporarily prohibit the use by traffic of the undermentioned length of road in St Neot. This prohibition is necessary for borehole works to determine ground conditions at highway edge and it is expected that the closure will be from 28th October 2024 to 1st November 2024. The prohibition will be in force 24 hours a day, weekdays only.

Road affected - Road From Tottertown Lane To Polmenna Hill And Woodland Hill, St Neot between grid reference SX 18679 66734 and the junction of Woodland Hill.

The County of Cornwall (Trefrew Road and Road Through Trefrew, Camelford) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2024

Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council has made the above Order dated 30th September 2024 in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to temporarily prohibit the use by traffic of the undermentioned length of road in Camelford. This prohibition is necessary for ducting and gully sucking works and it is expected that the closure will be from 14th October 2024 to 1st November 2024. The prohibition will be in force 24 hours a day, weekends included.

Road affected - Trefrew Road, Camelford for its entire length and Road Through Trefrew, Camelford between the junction of Trefrew Road and gride reference SX 10860 84803.

(Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2024

Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council has made the above Order dated 30th September 2024 in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to temporarily prohibit the use by traffic of the undermentioned length of road in Newquay. This prohibition is necessary for essential cleaning of SWW sewer pipes and it is expected that the closure will be from 16th October 2024 to 19th October 2024. The prohibition will be in force between the hours of 1900 and 0600, weekends included.

Road affected - Tregurrian Hill, Newquay between property known as Waves and property known as Seascape.

Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council has made the above Order dated 30th September 2024 in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to temporarily prohibit the use by traffic of the undermentioned length of road in St Newlyn East. This prohibition is necessary for railing repair works and it is expected that the closure will be from 14th October 2024 to 18th October 2024. The prohibition will be in force 24 hours a day, weekends included.

Road affected - Road From Trevoal Cottages To Junction North East Of Trewerry Mill, St Newlyn East for its entire length.

This prohibition is necessary for water connection works and it is expected that the closure will be from 28th October 2024 to 1st November 2024. The prohibition will be in force 24 hours a day, weekdays only.

Road affected - Vicarage Lane, Tywardreath from No 17 to No 19.

This prohibition is necessary for virtual footway works and it is expected that the closure will be from 28th October 2024 to 1st November 2024. The prohibition will be in force between the hours of 0730 and 1800, weekdays only.

Roads affected - Wadebridge Road, Road From Wadebridge Road To Glebe Parc, Bodmin between Tremeer Lane and Bodinnick Road.

Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council intends to make the above Order in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to temporarily prohibit the use by traffic of the undermentioned lengths of road in St Breward. This prohibition is necessary for ducting works and it is expected that the closure will be from 28th October 2024 to 1st November 2024. The prohibition will be in force 24 hours a day, weekends included.

Road affected - Road From Junction South West Of Loskeyle To Keybridge, Road From Wenford Bridge To Higher Lank, St Breward from junction on Road From Rylands To Higher Lank to junction on Road From Junction West Of Penrose To Junction South East Of Loskelyle.

Cornwall Council
Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (RTRA 1984)
Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2024

Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council is under the above Order dated 8th July 2024 continuing to prohibit the use by traffic over an area of highway being West Park, Broomfield Road, Green Hill, Wadebridge from junction on Egloshayle Road to No 33 Green Hill.

The Order which commenced on the 22nd July 2024 and is currently in force for up to eighteen months will now continue until the 1st November 2024. The prohibition will be in force 24 hours a day, weekends included.

The Council is satisfied that this further restriction is necessary owing to engineering difficulties and the Order is needed because gas mains replacement works are being executed on or near the road.

Nothing in this Order will apply to traffic associated with the works required within the highway specified above, any vehicle being used for the purposes of an undertaker in an emergency, such as loss of utility supplies and anything done with the permission of or at the discretion of a police officer. Pedestrian and Vehicular access to residents and businesses will be maintained.

Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council intends to make the above Order in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to temporarily prohibit the use by traffic of the undermentioned length of road in St Columb. This prohibition is necessary for new fibre infrastructure works and it is expected that the closure will be from 28th October 2024 to 30th October 2024. The prohibition will be in force 24 hours a day, weekdays only.

Road affected - West Street, St Columb from outside No 27 to outside No 13.
