What is happening?
BUCKINGHAMSHIRE COUNCIL
(Public Footpath No. 36 (Part) Parish of Buckingham) Public Path Diversion Order 2024 made on 24 July 2024 under section 119 of the Highways Act 1980 and section 53A(2) of the Wildlife and Countryside Act 1981 will divert the public footpath from SP69014-33284 SE for 22m to SP69031-33270 as shown on the Order map, to a line from SP69014-33284 ESE for 13m to SP69025-33278, then SSW for 1.5m to SP69025-33276, then ESE for 7m to SP69032-33273 as shown on the Order map and having a width of 2 metres throughout. Full details of the Order are available at Reception, Buckinghamshire Council, Walton Street Offices, Walton Street, Aylesbury, HP20 1UA and at Aylesbury Library during normal opening hours. Copies of the Order and map may be purchased from the Council at a cost of £5.00 by writing to the Definitive Map and Highway Searches Team at the address given below. Any representations about or objections to the Order may be sent in writing stating the grounds on which they are made to the Definitive Map and Highway Searches Team, 6th Floor,
Buckinghamshire Council, Walton Street Offices, Walton Street, Aylesbury,
HP20 1UA or email row@buckinghamshire.gov.uk by no later than 30 October 2024. If no such representations or objections are duly made, or if any so made are withdrawn, the Council may itself confirm the Order as an unopposed Order. If the Order is sent to the Secretary of State for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs for confirmation any objections which have not been withdrawn will be sent with the Order. Under the Local Government (Access to Information) Act 1985 this Council is obliged to make any representations received in response to this notice open to public inspection.
