Notice is hereby given that the Isle of Wight Council in not less than seven days from the appearance of this Notice, under Section 14 (1) (a) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, proposes to make the following Orders: -
The Isle of Wight Council (Town Lane, Calbourne, Isle of Wight) (Temporary Road Closure) Order No 3 2024
Island Roads on behalf of the Isle of Wight Council give notice that for ten shifts, between Monday 07 October 2024, and Friday 18 October 2024 or when the works have been completed, no person shall cause any vehicle to proceed along Town Lane, Calbourne, from its junction with Gold Street, and its junction with Corf Road. The alternative route will be signposted locally. The closure is required for safety during Structures Maintenance Scheme works.
The Isle of Wight Council (Kingates Lane, Niton, Isle of Wight) (Temporary Road Closure) Order No 4 2024 Island Roads on behalf of the Isle of Wight Council give notice that for one shift, between Monday 07 October 2024, and Wednesday 09 October 2024 or when the works have been completed, no person shall cause any vehicle to proceed along Kingates Lane, Niton, from its junction with Newport Road, and its junction with Kemming Road. The Isle of Wight Council (Cycle Track from Newport to Cowes, Newport, Isle of Wight) (Temporary Prohibition of Cyclists and Pedestrians) Order No 2 2024
Island Roads on behalf of the Isle of Wight Council give notice that for one shift between Monday 07 October 2024, and Wednesday 09 October 2024, or when the works have been completed, no person shall cause any pedestrian to proceed along Cycle Track from Newport to Cowes, Newport, from its junction with Newport Footpath 31 for 25meteres either side of its junction. The Isle of Wight Council (Roud Road, Godshill, Isle of Wight) (Temporary Road Closure) Order No 6 2024
Island Roads on behalf of the Isle of Wight Council give notice that for one shift, between Tuesday 08 October 2024, and Thursday 10 October 2024 or when the works have been completed, no person shall cause any vehicle to proceed along Roud Road, Godshill, from its junction with Beacon Alley, and its junction with Godshill Footpath 19. The Isle of Wight Council (Yarborough Road, Wroxall, Isle of Wight) (Temporary Road Closure) Order No 1 2024
Island Roads on behalf of the Isle of Wight Council give notice that for one shift, between Wednesday 09 October 2024, and Friday 11 October 2024 or when the works have been completed, no person shall cause any vehicle to proceed along Yarborough Road, Wroxall, from its junction with Ventnor Bridleway 131, for a distance of 56 meters in an eastern direction. There is no alternative route. The closure is required for safety during excavate and investigate works.

The Isle of Wight Council (Freshwater Footpath 21, Freshwater, Isle of Wight) (Temporary Prohibition of Pedestrians) Order No 1 2024
Island Roads on behalf of The Isle of Wight Council give notice that between 0900 and 1530 hours on Tuesday 8 October 2024, or when the works has been completed, Freshwater Footpath 21 will be closed, between its junctions with Jubilee Close and Camp Road. Island Roads on behalf of The Isle of Wight Council give notice that from 1900 hours on Wednesday 9 October 2024 until 0630 hours on Thursday 10 October 2024, or when the works has been completed, Carisbrooke Road will be closed West Street and Field Place. The Isle of Wight Council (North Street, Brighstone, Isle of Wight) (Temporary Road Closure) Order No 1 2024

The Isle of Wight Council (The Mall, Brading, Isle of Wight) (Temporary Road Closure) Order No 6 2024 Island Roads on behalf of The Isle of Wight Council give notice that from 0800 hours on Tuesday 8 October 2024 until 1600 hours on Friday 11 October 2024, or when the works has been completed, The Mall will be closed, between its junctions with Bullys Hill and Wrax Road. The alternative route will be signposted locally. The closure is required for utility works.
The Isle of Wight Council (Regent Street, Shanklin, Isle of Wight) (Temporary Loading Bay) Order No 1 2024
Island Roads on behalf of The Isle of Wight Council give notice that from 0001 hours on Friday 4 October 2024 until 1159 hours on Friday 15 November 2024, or when the works has been completed, a temporary loading bay will be introduced between 0600 hours and 1200 hours, along Regent Street, on the west side, between a point 20.5 metres south to a point 49.5 metres south of its junction with Falcon Cross Road. The loading bay is required to allow deliveries during the closure of Landguard Road.
The Isle of Wight Council (Carter Road, Shanklin, Isle of Wight) (Temporary No Waiting at Any Time Parking Restriction) Order No 1 2024
Island Roads on behalf of The Isle of Wight Council give notice that from 0001 hours on Friday 4 October 2024 until 1159 hours on Friday 15 November 2024, or when the works has been completed, a Temporary No Waiting at Any Time Parking Restriction will be introduced at all times, along Carter on the south side between Regent Street to Landguard Road. The parking restriction is required to allow the buses during Phase 5 of the Landguard Road rectification work.
Island Roads on behalf of the Isle of Wight Council give notice that between Friday 4 October 2024 and Friday 15 November 2024 the following roads will be closed for a period of approximately 15 shifts within this period, or when
the works have been completed, to enable carriageway maintenance works to be undertaken. No vehicle or person may use or cause any animal to use the following roads: and that no vehicle is permitted to wait on the following roads or within 50 metres on any adjoining side road were indicated by traffic signs. These works may include carriageway and footway reconstruction, resurfacing works, reflective stud work and lining works. In some cases, it may be necessary to close these sections of roads on more than one occasion within this timeframe. Exact dates, durations and access information will be communicated to affected businesses and residents via letter and on street advanced warning signs before the scheme commences. Adverse weather will have an impact on this programme:
The Isle of Wight Council (Falcon Cross Road, Shanklin, Isle of Wight) (Temporary Road Closure and Parking Restrictions) Order No 1 2024 - Falcon Cross Road will be closed for its entire length. The alternative route will be signposted locally.
The Isle of Wight Council (Western Road, Shanklin, Isle of Wight) (Temporary Revocation of One-Way Restriction) Order No 2 2024 - The one-way restriction will be revoked along Western Road for its entire length.

The Isle of Wight Council (West Street, Wroxall, Isle of Wight) (Temporary No Waiting at Any Time Parking Restrictions) Order No 1 2024 - A No Waiting at Any Time parking restriction will be introduced, on both sides, along West Street for its entire length. On street signage will depict the exact lengths of the restriction. Ocean View Road, Ventnor between its junction with Gills Cliff Road and its junction with Zig Zag Road, where indicated by no waiting cones on site
outside of 32 - 44 Ocean View Road, on the northern side, removing four parking bays;
Newport Road, Ventnor between its junction with Lowerville Road and its junction with St Margrets Glade, where
indicated by no waiting cones, on the
north eastern side, removing all on street parking;
