Proposed Order: To close that part of U51306 Tunnel Hill from its junction with U51314 Holly Mount to its junction with junction with U51312 Holly Mount Road.

Reason: Footway reconstruction by WCC.

Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.

Alternative route: U51314 Holly Mount, U51312 Holly Mount Road and vice versa.

Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 5 days. Commencing from: 21 October 2024.

(Link Footpath F50134 Cope Road (between No 22/23) A38 Droit, Worcester) (Temporary Closure) Order 2024

Proposed Order: To close that part of Link Footpath F50134 Cope Road (between No 22/23) A38 Droit from its junction with U50302 Cope Road to its junction with A38 Droitwich Road.

Reason: New / Replacement Gas Main by Cadent Gas.

Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.

Alternative route: A38 Droitwich Road, C2293 Coombs Road, U50301 Fairbairn Avenue, U50302 Cope Road and vice versa.

Maximum duration: 6 Months. Anticipated duration: 15 days (24hrs) Commencing: 21 October 2024

(U43426 Stonepit Lane/C2051 Withybed Lane, Inkberrow) (Temporary Closure) Order 2024

Proposed Order: To close that part of: Closure 1 U43426 Stonepit Lane from its junction with C2051 Withybed Lane to its junction with Perkins Drive (NSG Ref. 45405859). Closure 2 C2051 Withybed Lane from its junction with U43426 Stone Pit Lane for a distance of 20 metres in a northerly direction and 25 metres in a southerly direction. Reason: Drainage and flood alleviation works by M P Wood Groundworks Ltd.

Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.

Alternative route: Diversion Southbound: U43426 Stonepit Lane (part), A422 Worcester Road, C2051 Withybed Lane (part) and vice versa. Diversion Northbound: C2051 Withybed Lane (part), U43412 Stockwood Lane, A422 High Street, U43426 Stonepit Lane (part) and vice versa.

Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 11 days. Commencing: 21 October 2024.

(Link Footpath F50222 Newcastle Close/Nunnery Lane & Link Footpath F50223 Prestwich Avenue (between no. 24/26), Worcester) (Temporary Closure) Order 2024

Proposed Order: To close that part of: Closure 1 - F50222 Newcastle Close/Nunnery Lane from its junction with U52051 Newcastle Close to its junction with U52040 Nunnery Lane. Closure 2 - Link Footpath F50223 Prestwich Avenue (between no. 24 /26) from its junction with Link Footpath F50222 Newcastle Close/Nunnery Lane to its junction with U52035 Prestwich Avenue.

Reason: Footpath resurfacing, brick deliniation and bollards/ barriers replaced on Link Footpath F50222. Link Footpath F50223 Prestwich Avenue closure is to facilitate the works on Footpath F50222.

Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.

Alternative route: U52051 Newcastle Close, U52043 Chelmsford Drive, U52031 Liverpool Road, U52035 Prestwich Avenue, U52038 Mortlake Avenue, U52039 Hillery Road, Link Footpath F50220 Hazewood Close/Hillery Road, U52041 Hazewood Close, U52040 Nunnery Lane and vice versa.

Maximum duration: 6 Months. Anticipated duration: 27 days (24hrs). Commencing: 21 October 2024.

(U95617 Orleton, Stanford with Orleton) (Temporary Closure) Order 2024

Proposed Order: To close that part of U95617 Orleton from its junction with C2091 Eastham to its junction with B4203 Stanford Bridge.

Reason: Utility works by BT.

Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken. Alternative route: B4203 Stanford Bridge into Herefordshire,

B4204 Stanford Bridge, B4204 Broadheath, C2091 Hanley William, C2091 Eastham and vice versa.

Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 1 day. Commencing: 24 October 2024.

(Link Footpath F50285 Sheringham Road) (between Nos. 644/646)/Link Footpath F50286 Framlington Close (between Nos. 28/33, St. Peter The Great County, Worcester) (Temporary Closure) Order 2024

Proposed Order: To close that part of: Closure 1: Link Footpath F50285 Sheringham Road (between Nos. 644/646) from its junction with U52217 Sheringham Road to its junction with Link Footpath F50291 Aldersley Close (between Nos. 13/14). Closure 2: Link Footpath F50286 Framlington Close (between Nos 28/33) from its junction with Link Footpath F50285 Sheringham Road (between Nos. 644/646) to its junction with U52219 Framlington Close.

Reason: Footway reconstruction by WCC.

Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.

(Link Footpath F50222 Newcastle Close to Nunnery Lane, Worcester) (Temporary Closure) Order 2024 Proposed Order: To close that part of Link Footpath F50222 Newcastle Close to Nunnery Lane from its junction with U52051 Newcastle Close to its junction with U52040 Nunnery Lane.

Reason: Footpath reconstruction, ballard installation and vegetation removal by WCC.

Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.

Order made: To close that part of C2010 New Road from its junction with A422 Alcester Road to its junction with C2011 Evesham Road.

Reason: Pre Surface Dresing Patching by WCC.

Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.

Alternative route: A422 Alcester Road, A422 Worcester Road, C2011 Evesham Road and vice versa.

Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 2 days. Commencing: 3 October 2024.

(U50319 Northwick Road, Worcester) (Temporary Closure) Order 2024

Order made: To close that part of U50319 Northwick Road from its junction with U50365 Green Lane to its junction with Bixton Close (NSG Ref 45001958).

Reason: Carriageway resurfacing by WCC.

Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.

Alternative route: U50319 Northwick Road (part), U50336 Beckett Road, A449 Ombersley Road, U50365 Green Lane and vice versa.

Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 2 days between 27 September 2024 and 11 October 2024.

(U62007 Orchard Way, Callow End) (Temporary Closure) Order 2024

Order made: To close that part of U62007 Orchard Way from its junction with U62005 Lower Ferry Lane to its junction with U62008 Alton Park.

Reason: Footway reconstruction by WCC.

Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting

the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.

Alternative route: U62005 Lower Ferry Lane, U62010 Bow Hill, U62009 Highfield, U62008 Alton Park and vice versa.

Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 12 days. Commencing: 30 September 2024.

Order made: To close that part of U64611 Wichenford from its junction with C2243 Wichenford to its junction with U64611 Kings Green.

Reason: Post Installation by Severn Trent water.

Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.

Alternative route: C2243 Wichenford, C2068 Wichenford,

C2236 Wichenford, U64614 Poplar Road, U64611 Wichenford (part) and vice versa.

Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 3 days. Commencing: 1 October 2024.

(U64600 Harpley, Clifton Upon Teme) (Temporary Closure) Order 2024

Order made: To close that part of U64600 Harpley from its junction with B4203 High Lane (Herefordshire) to its junction with C2072 Holly Bush Lane.

Reason: Grass/debris clearance by WCC. Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.

Alternative route: C2072 Holly Bush Lane, B4203 High Lane (Herefordshire) and vice versa.

Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 4 days. Commencing: 30 September 2024.

(U64008 Walton Lane, Grimley) (Temporary Closure) Order 2024

Order made: To close that part of U64008 Walton Lane from its junction with A443 Main Road to its junction with C2256 Sinton Green.

Reason: Utility works by Severn Trent water. Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.

Alternative route: U64008 Walton Lane (part), C2256 Sinton Green, C2256 Dark Lane, A443 Main Road and vice versa. Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 3 days. Commencing: 1 October 2024.

Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (As Amended) (Footpath WR-810 (part) Worcester) (Temporary Closure) Order 2023

NOTICE is hereby given that the Order made by Worcestershire County Council on 25 March 2021 the effect of which is to close that part of its length which was due to expire on 1 October 2024 has been continued in force with the approval of the Secretary of State for the Department Transport until the works to which it relates have been completed or until 1 October 2027 whichever is sooner. Any further extension will require the approval of the Secretary of State.

The Order has been made as a result of surface damage and erosion of the footpath.

Alternative route: There is no alternative route.
