Temporary Road Closures Chelsea Manor Street (Northern End)

The Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea has made an Order under The Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991 Schedule 1 -Section 14 (1)(A) and all other enabling powers prohibiting vehicles from proceeding or waiting in roads cited below. 

Where necessary to maintain access for residents and occupiers one way or two-way traffic working may be imposed on affected roads.

ROAD CLOSED TO VEHICLES FOR UTILITY WORKS.

Chelsea Manor Street to be closed at the junction of King’s Road. To be closed from 08.00hrs on Wednesday 2nd October 2024 until 18.00hrs on Thursday 3rd October 2024, with backup dates of Wednesday 16th October 2024 until Thursday 17th October 2024, or until the works are completed.

Diverted through traffic may use King’s Road, Sydney Street, Britten Street, Chelsea Manor Street, in both directions.

The One-way working of Chelsea Manor Street, is to be suspended for the duration of the road closure. Access will be maintained for residents and occupiers. Nothing in this Order shall apply to anything done with the permission of, or at the direction of, a police constable in uniform or a traffic warden.

Nothing in this Order shall apply to any vehicle being used for police, fire brigade or ambulance purposes, or for the purposes of a statutory undertaker in an emergency.
