Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984

(U44402 Merstow Green, A4184 Vine Street, A4184 High Street, Link Footpath F40878 Market Place, U44521 Bridge Street, Evesham) (Temporary Closure & Temporary Suspension of One-Way) Order 2024

Order made: To close various roads and a footpath as follows:-

(a) U44402 Merstow Green - For its entire length.

(b) A4184 Vine Street - From its junction with Merstow Green roundabout to its junction with the High Street (closed southbound).

(c) A4184 High Street - From its junction with Vine Street to its junction with Oat Street (closed southbound).

(d) Link Footpath F40878 Market Place - For its entire length.

(e) U44521 Bridge Street - From its junction with the High Street to its junction with Mill Street.

Suspend the One-Way Order on:

(f) U44519 Mill Street for its entire length. It will be made into a two-way traffic with temporary traffic light control.

The Order is being made to facilitate the Annual Mop Fair.

Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.

Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 4 days. Commencing Wednesday 2 October 2024 (6pm) - Sunday 6 October 2024 (2am).

(U47202 Salters Lane, Lower Moor) (Temporary Closure) Order 2024

Proposed Order: To close that part of U47202 Salters Lane from its junction with A44 Evesham Road to its junction with U47203 Blacksmiths Lane.

Reason: Drainage work for flood alleviation by Severn Trent Water.

Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.

Alternative route: U47203 Blacksmiths Lane, U47203 Manor Road, U47205 Cherry Orchard Road, A44 Evesham Road and vice versa.

Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 1 day. Commencing: 21 October 2024.

(A44 Fish Hill/A44 Broadway Bypass, Broadway) (Temporary Closure) Order 2024

Proposed Order: To close that part of A44 Fish Hill/A44 Broadway Bypass from its junction with A44 Gloucestershire County boundary to its junction with B4632 Leamington Road.

Reason: Vehicle restraint barrier installation by WCC.

Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.

Alternative route: Diversion for full closure (Sunday 20 October only): A44 Broadway Bypass (part), C2119 Collin Lane into Gloucestershire and vice versa.

Diversion for Westbound closure (21 October to 8 November 2024): Into Gloucestershire, C2119 Collin Lane, A44 Broadway Bypass (part).

Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 20 days. Commencing: 20 October 2024. (Full closure Sunday

20 October only 18:00-06:00) (Westbound only closure

21 October - 8 November 2024 24hrs).

(C2222 Walcot Lane, Pinvin) (Temporary Closure) Order 2024

Proposed Order: To close that part of C2222 Walcot Lane from its junction with B4083 Station Road for a distance of 397 metres in a westerly direction.

Reason: Renew gabion baskets, verge masters and signage works by WCC.

Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.

Alternative route: B4083 Station Road, A44 Allens Hill A44 Evesham Road, Egdon to Stonebow Road, A44 Worcester Road, C2115 Stonebow Road, C2222 Walcote Lane (part) and vice versa.

Maximum duration: 18 Months.

Anticipated duration: 5 days. Commencing: 21 October 2024.

(C2007 Hinton Road, Childswickham) (Temporary Closure) Order 2024

Proposed Order: To close that part of C2007 Hinton Road from its junction with A46 Cheltenham Road to its junction with U45617 Murcot Road.

Reason: Remedial works by Severn Trent Water. Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.

Alternative route: C2007 Hinton Road (part), C2007 Broadway Road, C2007 Childswickham Road, B4632 Cheltenham Road, B4632 Evesham Road, A44 Evesham Road, A44 Longdon Hill, A44 Broadway Road, A46 Evesham Bypass (National Highways), A46 Cheltenham Road (National Highways), C2007 Broadway Road, C2007 Hinton Road (part) and vice versa.

Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 1 day. Commencing: 24 October 2024.

(U45408 Colletts Fields, Broadway) (Temporary Closure) Order 2024

Proposed Order: To close that part of U45408 Colletts Fields from its junction with U45413 Orchard Avenue to its junction with U45409 Colletts Gardens.

Reason: Installation of dropped kerb by WCC.

Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.

Alternative route: U45413 Orchard Avenue, U45411 Bibsworth Avenue, U45409 Colletts Gardens and vice versa.

Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 4 days. Commencing: 21 October 2024.

(U47406 Norchard Lane, Peopleton) (Temporary Closure) Order 2024

Proposed Order: To close that part of U47406 Norchard Lane from its junction with C2115 Main Street to its junction with U47405 St Nicholas Road.

Reason: Remedial works by Severn Trent Water. Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.

Alternative route: U47405 St Nicholas Road, U47404 Dineley Road, U47402 Monk Way, C2115 Main Street and vice versa.

Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 2 days (24hrs). Commencing: 19 October 2024.

(C2008 Hollands Road, Eckington) (Temporary Closure) Order 2024

Proposed Order: To close that part of C2008 Hollands Road from its junction with U46615 Back Lane to its junction with U46420 Woollas Hill.

Reason: Carriageway patching by WCC. Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.

Alternative route: C2008 Comberton Road, B4080 Pershore Road, A4104 Defford Road, B4080 Bridge Street, C2007 Pensham Hill, C2007 Foodleigh Hill, C2008 Marybrook Bridge Lane, C2008 Back Lane to Pershore Road and vice versa.

Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 1 day between 22 October 2024 and 1 November 2024.

(B4085 Blackminster, Badsey) (Temporary Closure) Order 2024

Order made: To close that part of B4085 Blackminster from its junction with U45208 Clayfield Road to its junction with C2047 Station Road.

Reason: Level crossing maintenance by Network Rail. Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken. No access for emergency vehicles diversion route must be followed.

Alternative route: B4085 Blackminster (part), B4085 Cleeve Road, B4510 Cleeve Road to Three Cocks Lane, B4510 Evesham Road, B4510 Offenham Road, B4035 Basdey Road, A46 Evesham Bypass Roundabout (National Highways), B4035 Badsey Road, B4085 Birmingham Road, B4085 Blackminster (part) and vice versa.

Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 1 night (22:50 - 05:00). Commencing: 3 October 2024.

(C2022 The Green, Rous Lench) (Temporary Closure) Order 2024

Order made: To close that part of C2022 The Green from its junction with C2011 Radford Road to its junction with C2022 Broad Lane to Rous Lench.

Reason: Carriageway patching by WCC.

Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.

Alternative route: C2022 Broad Lane to Rous Lench, C2022 Broad Lane, C2012 Main Street, C2012 Abberton Road, C2012 Bishampton Road, U43604 Bishampton Road, C2225 Bishampton Road, C2010 Radford Road, C2010 Alcester Road, C2011 Radford Road and vice versa.

Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 1 day between 30 September 2024 and 18 October 2024.

(U45021 Norval Road, South Littleton) (Temporary Closure) Order 2024

Proposed Order: To close that part of U45021 Norval Road from its junction with U45020 Meadow Road for a distance of 78 metres in a westerly direction.

Reason: Dropped kerb for new vehicle crossing by WCC.

Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.

Alternative route: U45021 Norval Road (part), U45022 Withy Trees Road, C20091 Shinehill Lane, U45020 Meadow Road and vice versa.

Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 4 days. Commencing: 21 October 2024.

(C2121 Chadbury Road, Lenchwick) (Temporary Closure) Order 2024

Proposed Order: To close that part of C2121 Chadbury Road from its junction with A44 Worcester Road for a distance of 100 metres in a north easterly direction.

Reason: New/Replacement Water Main by Severn Trent Water.

Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.

Alternative route: A44 Worcester Road, A44 Chadbury By Pass, U44000 Lenchwick Lane, C2121 Chadbury Road (part) and vice versa.

Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 12 days (24hrs). Commencing: 21 October 2024.

Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (As Amended) (District of Wychavon - Non-Urban Areas) (Permitted Parking Area and Special Parking Area) (Waiting Restrictions and Street Parking Places) Consolidation Order 2004 (Variation) Order 2024 [Experimental Prohibition of Waiting on B4035 Main Street, Bretforton]

On 12 September 2024 Worcestershire County Council made an Experimental Order which will impose prohibition of waiting at any time on the following lengths and sides of road in Bretforton: -

B4035 Main Street, Bretforton (North Side): From a point 18m west of its junction with Victoria Gardens for a distance of 18m in an easterly direction.

From a point 42m east of its junction with Victoria Gardens for a distance of 6m in an easterly direction.

B4035 Main Street, Bretforton (South Side): From its junction with Victoria Gardens for a distance of 16m in an easterly direction.

From a point 42m east of its junction with Victoria Gardens for a distance of 38m in an easterly direction. The Experimental Order will come into operation on 10 October 2024 and remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months.
