Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2024

Surrey County Council propose to make the above-mentioned Temporary Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to prohibit vehicles from entering or proceeding in that length of Crondall Lane (C120) Farnham which extends from its junction with Dippenhall Road (C123) to the northwestern property boundary line of “Losehill House”.

Alternative Route – Crondall Lane (C120), Doras Green Lane (D5329), Heath Lane, Odiham Road (A287), Folly Hill (A287), Castle Hill (A287), The Borough (A287), West Street (B3228) and Crondall Lane (C120) or the same route in reverse.

This Order is required to allow BT Openreach to carry out telecom works, which is anticipated to be completed within 1 day, between 9:00am and 01:00pm, during the 12 month period of operation of this Order which will commence on 20 October 2024. Advanced warning signs will be displayed, and the temporary closure will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed. Access for emergency vehicles, residents, pedestrians and cyclists will be maintained at all times. All other vehicular traffic will be required to use the signed diversion route.
