Temporary Road Closures – Various Roads, Countywide 2024 (No.43)

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Hampshire County Council intends to make an order in accordance with the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 S.14 because of works on or near the road.

ROADS TO BE CLOSED: those parts of the following roads:

  1. Itchel Lane, Hart between its junction with The Oast House and its junction with West Field Cottage
  2. Beckford Lane, Southwick and Widley, Winchester between its junction with the bridge on Beckford Lane and its junction with Apless Lane
  3. Brewers Lane, Gosport between its junction with Beverly Close and its junction with Hawkins Road
  4. Quarely Road, Havant between its junction with Parkhouse Farm Way and its junction with Whaddon Court
  5. Court Close, Lymington, New Forest between its junction with Rookes Lane/Ridgeway Lane and its termination
  6. Romsey Road Gales Green, Lyndhurst, New Forest between its junction with A337 Romsey Road and its termination.

DURATION OF ORDER: from 21st October 2024 for a period of 18 months. (This is the duration of the Order, not the works, which will vary according to technical requirements. Closure times and patterns will be indicated on site prior to and whilst the works are in progress.) Reasonable facilities will be provided to allow access to adjacent premises while the work is being carried out.
