What is happening?

LONDON BOROUGH OF BARNET

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 AS AMENDED BY THE ROAD TRAFFIC (TEMPORARY RESTRICTIONS) ACT 1991 SECTION 14(1) TEMPORARY INTRODUCTION OF BANNED

RIGHT AND ROAD CLOSURE AERODROME ROAD NW9

The BARNET LONDON BOROUGH COUNCIL HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that owing for the need to facilitate carriageway chamber maintenance works, they intend to make an Order which will:

(a) temporarily close Aerodrome Road between the junction of Grahame Park Way NW9 and A41 Watford Way, while the works take place.

(b) temporarily prohibit vehicles from turning right onto Aerodrome Road from A41 Watford Way, while the works take place.

The works will commence at 7.00pm on Monday 28th October 2024 and is expected to last for 3 nights.

The alternative routes for motorists are via:

(a) Diversion Route: for Southbound Traffic on Watford Way: Watford Way, Vivian Avenue, Station Road.

Watford Way, Colindeep Lane, Edgware Road, Colindale Avenue.

(b) Diversion Route for Northbound Traffic on Watford Way/Traffic from Greyhound Hill: Watford Way, Mill Hill Circus, Watford Way, Vivian Avenue, Station Road. Watford Way, Colindeep Lane, Edgware

Road, Colindale Ave. Nothing in the above paragraphs shall apply to anything done with the permission of or at the direction of a Police Constable or a Traffic Warden in uniform. Further information may be obtained by contacting the NRSWA Team, London Borough of Barnet, Tel 020 8359 3555.
